Hope Walz has decided to defer grad school for a year. Why? Because the school she was accepted to won’t allow students the ability to protest whenever and wherever they want.

She’s super serious about this. The implication here is that ORANGEMAN BAD! for being mean to those colleges such as Columbia, Georgetown, Yale, Harvard and more that have had funding yanked due in part to campuses being overrun with asshat student protestors since October 7, 2023. According to Hope’s reasoning, they are just speaking freely and she, as a “white woman of privilege” is boycotting grad school in support. 

“Given recent events, I am not going to give my money/go into debt for/support institutions that don’t support their students and the right to protest and speak out for their communities,” Walz said Saturday in a TikTok that has more than 460,000 views as of Sunday. “That’s just not where I’m at. Students deserve to be protected.”

There it is. Protect the student protestors. Don’t suspend or expel them for just speaking their minds! Those other students, you know such as the Jewish ones, whom the student protestors are threatening? Their safety? Not Hope’s concern. 

Then again, this is the daughter of a woman who raved about the smell of burning tires during the George Floyd riots. She’s going to only align with a school that has her same “values.” 

She said she originally applied to one school, which she said she wouldn’t name, and had her “heart set on it.” She added she’s not worried about being protected because she’s a “privileged white woman,” but she’s didn’t want to put herself in a position where she’s giving money to a school that doesn’t support their students.

She ended the video saying she’s going to do more research going forward and only apply for schools that align with her values, and possibly go to grad school in a year.

“I’m not really in a rush,” she said

If she supports student protests, then she should be all in on the current protests about foreign students having their visas yanked. 

I mean, making a Tik Tok video from your living room is so stunningly brave and inspirational! 

The reactions are about what you’d expect. 

Others questioned whether she truly was accepted to her ‘dream school’, saying she could have been creating an elaborate excuse when in reality she simply didn’t get in.

‘She didn’t get in lol. I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t even apply to one… it’s all theatrics,’ one critic said.

Another added: ‘In other words, I don’t want to go to grad school, but I can pose as a social Justice warrior and then get hired by dad’s buddies think tank.’

A third wrote: ‘If virtue signaling paid well, she’d be a millionaire.’ 

Another warned that she was so ‘brainwashed’ that she was inadvertently ‘screwing herself out of an education.’

Well, Tim and Gwen have taught Hope Walz well. She has learned from the best…or worst depending upon your point of view! 

As for Hope’s search for an all-inclusive and welcoming grad school that will allow the ‘right kind of protestors,’ she might have to look outside the U.S. given that the Trump Administration is holding to the promise to yank federal funding from places such as Columbia because of the antisemitic bent of the campus protests. 

I agree with this person at X. It’s woke grandstanding.

Congrats, sweetheart, you just set feminism back 50 years by quitting life to chase TikTok clout. The Walz gene pool is a shallow end with no ladder. Your dad’s a clown, your mom needs a padded room, and you? You’re the final boss of performative stupidity.

However, I’d say China won’t be on her list. Even her father knows that China doesn’t like protests and will squash them like a bug…with a tank.
