Abigail Spanberger started immediately flexing her puny muscles mere minutes after becoming Governor of Virginia. State and local agencies will no longer cooperate with ICE.
In other words, she has set up local and state law enforcement agencies to be an active roadblock to ICE. Child predators, rapists, burglars, murderers who are here illegally? Abigail has your back.
Newly sworn in Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger, a Democrat, rescinded her predecessor Republican Glenn Youngkin’s order that mandated state and local law enforcement must cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
“Federal authorities should enforce federal civil immigration laws—law enforcement in the Commonwealth should prioritize the safety and security of all residents in Virginia, the enforcement of local and state laws, and coordination with federal entities on criminal matters,” Spanberger’s order states.

Following her inauguration, Spanberger got right to work and signed Executive Order No. 10 (2026), which rescinded directives under Youngkin’s Executive Order No. 47 (2025) that required and encouraged state and local law enforcement to “divert their limited resources for use in enforcing federal civil immigration laws,” according to Spanberger’s order.
You know what Abby? Keeping illegals who commit additional crimes IN JAIL, and then having ICE come in to remove them isn’t stretching those “limited resources” thin on any level.
But Abigail is just like all the other incredibly liberal Democrats. She’d rather thumb her nose at ICE, Tom Homan, and American citizens because of her own Trump animosity. She’d rather let criminals who are child predators, rapists, and murderers go free instead of protecting American citizens who reside in Virginia.
Democrats have short memories and hope the rest of us do as well.

But you see, that was (D)ifferent because Democrats were in power then.
Tom Homan knows Abigail Spanberger. Her bloviating about hindering ICE from doing their jobs won’t stop Homan nor ICE from doing theirs.
“I’m a resident of Virginia and Spanberger — I remember her campaign ads. ‘I’m a law enforcement officer. I rescued children from sex trafficking.’ I’ve seen the commercials,” Homan told “Ruthless” co-host John Ashbrook. “So first day in office, she stops being a law enforcement officer and became a politician, because where’s all those commercials you did about supporting law enforcement and rescuing kids?”
Tom, you know as well as we do that she was pandering for votes. Her actions regarding ICE immediately after assuming office ripped the mask off.
You just know she’s glad that she has ordered state and local law enforcement officials to hinder ICE. Especially after the House, with 7 Democrats voting in favor,passed the latest DHS funding bill.
The House narrowly passed $1.2 trillion in government funding Thursday, overcoming intense Democratic opposition to funding Immigration and Customs Enforcement as the agency surges operations in Minneapolis and other cities.
The Department of Homeland Security funding bill — which would allocate $64.4 billion to it, including $10 billion for ICE — was approved 220-207, with seven Democrats joining all but one Republican in voting yes.
Here’s where we are. Democrats have been siding with criminals over that of U.S. citizens. Spanberger’s latest move demonstrates that loud and clear.
Again, newly minted Governor Spanberger wants to thumb her nose at following federal law and keeping Virginia citizens safe.

Meanwhile, her VERY FIRST action as governor was to rescind an order requiring local police to cooperate with ICE to arrest violent criminal illegal aliens.
Tom Homan is correct.
“If they work with us — I mean, one agent can arrest one illegal alien in a county jail,” he said. “Give us access to the person that you locked in a jail cell, and they’re in the country illegally. When you’re done, you give them to us. That’s the most efficient way to do it. But when you are knowingly going to release public safety threats in the community, now we’ve got to send a whole team out looking for them.”
ICE will do their job and THEY are the ones, along with Tom Homan, who will be working to keep Virginia citizens safe. Abigail Spanberger won’t.

The root cause of the violence in Minnesota is that the state and local law enforcement have been ordered to not cooperate with ICE and other federal law enforcement authorities. Those policies and orders are from the Governor and AG on down. This allows ANTIFA and similar groups to organize and operate. A big part of their strategy is publicly uncritically “reported” by a partisan media.
The biggest obstacle to this strategy is that Minnesota is fly-over country with nasty cold weather in the winter. The biggest obstacle celebrities in the media don’t want to go there.
But, organizing and causing chaos in northern Virginia – that’s different. It can be staged in the middle of the Blue Bubble and a center of the legacy media.
Will the strategy backfire? In 1968 Humphrey lost to Nixon because Americans had turned against the anti-war protests of the mid-1960s. The violence and chaos, which was especially on display before the Chicago media center, convinced a lot of people to vote against Democrats. Trump is media savvy. He’s built a team that knows how to get out its messages and expose the violence and chaos that Democrat politicians allow and encourage. By targeting illegal aliens who are child sexual predators, murders, rapists and other violent criminals, and repeated asking why Democrats want to allow such criminals in “your neighborhoods”, Democrat candidates have no answer. And, with the widespread social media, the legacy press no longer can control the narrative and public discussion. The Virginia Governor, Lt. Governor, AG, and legislature are playing the old game, which Trump has already shown that he knows how to beat.
Cameron says: We are going to get our country back no matter what Minneapolis thinks.
