Yet again we owe the Donald Trump Administration 2.0. They are working hard to help out country heal from the nonsense of the last couple Democrat Administrations. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has ordered that a Navy resupply ship named in honor of the late Harvey Milk be renamed. Sailors everywhere are cheering.

Both Trump and Hegseth promised that they would restore honor, dignity and warfighting skills to our military. The staffs would eliminate DEI and promote the meritocracy. Part of the restoration means cleaning up the nasty messes left by Obama and Biden and their handmaidens, like naming a ship after Harvey Milk because he served in the Navy. Well, so did the Green River Killer, Gary Ridgway. Surely, he could get a skiff named after him.

Proving there are entendres everywhere. The Navy named an oil resupply ship after the gay hero, Harvey Milk. From the U.S. Naval Institute:

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has tasked Secretary of the Navy John Phelan to rechristen a fleet oiler named for the late gay rights advocate and Navy veteran Harvey Milk, according to a memo reviewed by USNI News.

The memo outlines an action plan that would have Phelan choose a name on Tuesday for the John Lewis-class oiler to replace USNS Harvey Milk (TAO-205) ahead of a planned announcement on June 13 with the date set at the direction Hegseth. The memo was first reported by Military.com.

The memo sought “alignment with President and SECDEF objectives and SECNAV priorities of reestablishing the warrior culture,” as well as to “Protect SECNAV Title 10 rights.” A defense official told USNI News that the move to rename the ship and the timing was at the direction of Hegseth.

In a Tuesday statement, chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell did not address the renaming directly but said: “Secretary Hegseth is committed to ensuring that the names attached to all DoD installations and assets are reflective of the Commander-in-Chief’s priorities, our nation’s history and the warrior ethos. Any potential renaming(s) will be announced after internal reviews are complete.”

A spokesperson for Phelan did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Yes, the names attached to “all DoD installations and assets” should definitely NOT be pedophiles, predators or serial killers. Harvey Milk is considered a gay activist and hero who was martyred. Milk was also a groomer and pedophile. From the Front Page article “Harvey Milk was a Pedophile”:

An ugly scene played out at the Temecula Valley School Board meeting as they voted 3-2 to reject an elementary school social studies book that contained information about pioneering California gay rights figure Harvey Milk. The board’s president made a baseless accusation that Milk was a pedophile before voting to ban the book.

“My question is, why even mention a pedophile?” said Board President Dr. Joseph Komrosky.

By “baseless”, the media means that it hasn’t heard of it in its echo chamber and won’t even dignify it by spending 3 seconds researching it.

“As Daniel Flynn explains in Cult City: Jim Jones, Harvey Milk and 10 Days That Shook San Francisco, ‘Milk’s taste in men veered toward boys.’ Milk was nearly 17 years older than teenager Joe Campbell and Jack Galen was only 16 to Milk’s 33. Former Marine Oliver “Bill” Sipple slept with men and “knew that Harvey Milk slept with boys.” In a letter to Sipple, Milk said he had many things to do that day, such as “cook dinner, fuck Jack, take a bath, fuck Jack, listen to some music, fuck Jack, wash the dishes, fuck Jack,” and so on.

Jack was a teenage runaway. He ended up heavily on drugs.

That’s the real ugliness. Not someone actually mentioning these facts.

Now the media may argue that having a taste for underage boys doesn’t make Milk a “pedophile” in the technical sense of the word, that luring and addicting an underage teen isn’t the behavior of a pedophile.

Harvey Milk did serve four years in the Navy. He served from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War. He was forced to resign his commission or be relieved of duty because of his homosexual activities. He was an Operations Officer on a submarine. Gay or straight, that position requires degrees of decorum and discretion Milk just did not have. He was known for being mercurial and for outing closeted Gays who did not wish to be out.

Let us not forget Milk’s relationship with Jim Jones who killed hundreds of people with poisoned Kool Aid.

The question is why on Earth did Barack Obama choose to name USNS Harvey Milk after this guy/ Stupidity. Lack of Respect for the Military. As a sop to the late Senator Dianne Feinstein. All of the above.
