Last night brought news that a Hamas guard had killed a male hostage and wounded two more hostages. Nearly simultaneously, news came that the U.S. Navy is sending the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group to join the USS Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group near the Gulf of Oman. Additionally, a guided missile submarine, the USS Georgia, was dispatched to the area. A reminder:

Israel has been on heightened status since she obliterated to terrorist leaders, one each from Hamas and Hezbollah, and her military is now on high alert, according to the Wall Street Journal:

Israel set the high-alert level for its military for the first time this month after observing preparations by Iran and Hezbollah to carry out attacks, a person familiar with the matter said. Israel doesn’t know whether attacks are imminent and is proceeding cautiously, the person said.

The Israeli military’s chief of staff, Herzi Halevi, approved plans on Monday and said offensive and defensive preparations were under way, according to the Israeli military.
“We are in the days of vigilance and readiness,” said Yoav Gallant, Israel’s defense minister. “The threats from Tehran and Beirut may materialize and it is important to explain to everyone that readiness, preparedness and vigilance are not synonyms for fear and panic,” he said.

We are eternally grateful that Israel still has strong men and women in leadership positions. They get no help from the United States. We are looking at you, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Antony Blinken and Lloyd Austin. These people are especially useless since the October 7, 2023 massacre. 2023. Joe Biden has been impotent in his leadership and ,the heir in the line of succession, Kamala Harris had the gall to demand a ceasefire. Useless, worthless and weak. Each and every person in this Administration is a snollygoster, which never should have fallen out of usage.

Because the snollygosters on our shores have not been clear with Hamas since the massacre and we have not stood solidly with Israel, the United States and Israel still have hostages held by the Hamas terrorists. One Israeli male hostage was killed by his guard and two women captives were seriously wounded in two separate incidents in Gaza, the spokesperson for Hamas’ armed al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, said today.

Abu Ubaida blamed the incident on what he described as Israeli “massacres” against Palestinians.

“The enemy government bears full responsibility for these massacres and the resulting reactions that affect the lives of Zionist prisoners,” Abu Ubaida said in a statement posted on Telegram.

Yes, it’s the Israelis fault that the Hamas thugs murdered them after torturing them with captivity for ten months.

He said a committee has been formed to investigate, and findings will be announced later, adding efforts are underway to save the two wounded hostages.

It was the first time Al-Qassam has said its guards killed hostages. The group has often attributed previous killings of hostages to Israeli bombardment.

Israeli Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said in Arabic on X: “In the last few minutes, the terrorist Hamas published a written report claiming that in two separate incidents, Hamas activists killed an Israeli captive and wounded two women captives. At this stage there is no intelligence document to confirm or refute Hamas’ allegations. We continue to investigate the credibility of the statement and will provide information where we have it.”
