Edan Alexander: His Release And The Tenafly, New Jersey Party

As I sit here typing this out, vehicles are on their way from Israel to Gaza to pick up Etan Alexander, kidnapped on October 7, 2023 and held for 583 days or 19 months. Our Deanna told you earlier this morning that Alexander was released today. Unbelievably, it’s happened. The vile,
murderous snakes of Hamas released him.

Remember that the pig people of Hamas said that they had lost track of Alexander for a bit. Trashy. Etan Alexander is a dual citizen of the United States and Israel and was serving with the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) on that bloody day in October. It couldn’t be fear of the might of the United States military under the resolute Donald Trump that convinced Hamas to finally do the right thing. No. Hot Air surmises that this might be to embarrass Benjamin Netanyahu:

The only leverage Hamas has against an all-out conquest by the IDF is its hostages, and the number has dwindled down to only a few. They cannot afford to let any loose without some sort of significant concession in return — heck, they’ve been offered significant concessions all along and have played the Hamas Hokey Pokey in their refusal to abide by their own demands.

Perhaps we should wait until the exchange actually takes place before celebrating it. If it does take place, though, it has the potential to embarrass Benjamin Netanyahu by making it look as though Trump got at least one hostage freed when Netanyahu had given up. Netanyahu’s government is already taking flak over it:

Two things: I don’t believe there is any daylight between Israel and the United States. Enemies of Netanyahu will try to spin anything to make the Prime Minister look bad.

Meantime, Etan Alexander is free:

If I were a politician, I sure would be in Tenafly. Are you paying attention, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and Representative LaMonica McIver? Its only 21 miles from Newark to Tenafly. There is a townwide party going on in Tenafly for Etan Alexander, according to CBS News:

A crowd is assembling Monday in New Jersey to watch the expected release of Edan Alexander, the last living U.S. citizen kidnapped by Hamas terrorists, who has been held hostage for over 19 months.

People are gathering in Tenafly, where Alexander grew up, to watch a livestream of the Israeli-American national’s anticipated release, after Hamas said in a statement Sunday that he will be freed from captivity.

A large screen airing live Israeli news coverage of the Alexander family’s arrival in Israel and his anticipated release was set up for the crowd to watch back in their hometown.

“We are Edan’s best friends from back home in Tenafly, New Jersey. He is honestly the strongest kid that I know, the strongest person that I know. So resilient throughout all of this. We’ve heard also from the hostages that he was helping translate for them in the tunnels. Edan’s family has just been so supportive throughout this whole thing. They’re an inspiration to all of us,” said Alexander’s friend Michael Leschner. “We feel so honored and so relieved finally, like, this has just been such a long time coming and we love Edan so much, and he’s literally the core and glue of our friend group.”

This just screams Americana for me. If those New Jersey pols loved America the way they love cameras and microphones, they would have been party planning in Tenafly rather than stirring up lies in Newark.

Strength and remarkable courage. Amen.

The Red Cross will hand Mr. Alexander over to the IDF and he will then go to the hospital.

The Red Cross did not visit Mr. Alexander one time during his captivity. Useless idiots.

Pray for Etan Alexander and for the hostages still in captivity. Pray for the idiotic unAmerican politicians in Newark too. Feckers.
