During the GW Bush years, Democrats declared Dissent is Patriotic. Yet as soon as Obama was elected, the pivot away from that bumper sticker sentiment was so fast and complete, Nancy Pelosi was lauded as she called Republican opposition to Obama unAmerican. Now, as Yogi Berra once said, “It’s deja vu all over again.”

Of course, that wasn’t all Granny Vodka has had to say about people who annoy her by questioning Democrat agendas — the TEA Party was astro-turf and just like Nazis. Obama had choice words about bitter clingers and all manner of Patriotic Democrats pushed conservative off college stages and out of restaurants across America.

And let’s not forget that declaring an election was stolen is just fine when done by Hillary or Stacy Abrams. But it is an existential threat to Our Democracy™ if anyone dares breath the slightest question about a Democrat winning.

Indeed, it has become this weird tic, never seen during the Bush or Trump years, that any question about electoral integrity is now prefaced in the MSM with “unfounded claim of”, “no evidence of”, “false claim of”. It’s as if it is part of the AP style book right there beside pregnant person.

You have been warned … only Republicans steal elections or suppress votes or something something something.

And while I came of age during the worst of the Vietnam era … watching not only the nightly body counts on tv and the Left seizing on the opportunity to try their hand at violent revolution in American streets, I’ve also seen every elected Republican president since Eisenhower be subjected to the filing of impeachment documents. I’ve seen every Republican president and presidential candidate portrayed by Democrats and the press as Hitler incarnate. Even the perfectly vanilla Mitt Romney was, according to Creepy Joe himself, only one election away from putting black folk back in chains. The Hart Building at the Capitol was occupied — OCCUPIED — by crowds of pinkpussyhatted hysterics who pounded on the hearing doors trying to “get” to Kavanaugh and there were no consequences at all. Eric Swalwell sleeps with a Chinese agent and keeps his seat on the Intelligence committee, Zuckerberg is told by the FBI to suppress any discussion of the Hunter laptop, Garland Merrick issues a memo for the FBI to investigate intimidate parents who ask the wrong questions at school board meetings while also refusing to do anything about the illegal protests and intimidation at the homes of the conservative SCOTUS judges.

And we’ve seen over and over again, the Left never pays a price for their behavior. And all through this, Republicans rarely push back in any way but angry words and sometimes succeeding at elections. However, the Left never sleeps and they are so infuriated at the 75,000,000 voters who rejected Biden that they are going to ratchet up the unpersoning of each and every one of us.

Mr. Unity his-creepy-self had his go-go meds upped enough to sneer loudly that Republicans are sickening for daring to question the FBI …

… or talking about defunding it. Eight months of Antifa/BLM rights in 2020 were no big deal when Ultra MAGA Republicans might run for school boards. Now for the leftwing urbanites who feel chicken parts come from the grocery store and nature is the city park two blocks over, the idea of murdering millions of Americans if they don’t fall in line is not only exciting but they really think it will be as quick and price free as Putin’s blitzkrieg of Ukriane.

In something that I find profoundly troubling, when I’ve had this discussion before, I’ve had a Caring Liberal tell me that the example of Iraq doesn’t apply, because “we kept the gloves on”, whereas fighting America’s gun nuts would be a righteous total war with nothing held back… Holy shit, I’ve got to wonder about the mentality of people who demand rigorous ROEs to prevent civilian casualties in a foreign country, are blood thirsty enough to carpet bomb Texas.

A friend of mine who is a political activist said something interesting the other day, and that was for most people on the left political violence is a knob, and they can turn the heat up and down, with things like protests, and riots, all the way up to destruction of property, and sometimes murder… But for the vast majority of folks on the right, it’s an off and on switch. And the settings are Vote or Shoot Fucking Everybody. And believe me, you really don’t want that switch to get flipped, because Civil War 2.0 would make Bosnia look like a trip to Disneyworld.

Speaking of ugly, do you really honestly think that you’re going to be able to kill people because they disagree with you, and they won’t hit you back where it hurts? While you’re drone striking Omaha Nebraska you really think that the people who live where all the food is grown, the electricity is generated, and all the freeways and rail lines run through, that some of them aren’t going to take it personal? And that they’re not going to use their location and access to make life extremely uncomfortable for you?

The Left has always resented the Constitution. It chafes their chaps to have to persuade people when they are On The Right Side of History. From BigTech to the Federal bureaucracy, the march to strip residents of America of their citizenship should not be frustrated.

Dissent is Fascism and resistance is futile. That will be Biden’s message tonight.
