The Democrat Party has finally come up with a strategy to win elections and it’s called “Sue Until It’s Blue”. They will sue every state to get redistricting done to the Democrat’s advantage. This strategy, along with voiding the Electoral College and impeaching everyone in the Trump Administration, is all they have got. The Dems are bereft of any good ideas.
I was stripping the bed and talking to the dog when former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker popped up on Fox News Channel this morning and was discussing “Sue Until It’s Blue”. I knew that both the states of Michigan and Ohio had recently been ordered to redraw their “gerrymandered” districts, but I didn’t know it was a Democrat strategy. A quick Google search and, Eureka!, this little plan is led by former President Barack Obama and his wingman Attorney General Eric Holder. From the Fox News Network website in an article written by Governor Walker:
Former President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder won’t tell the truth when it comes to their redistricting strategy, but here it is: Pick a state, any state, and sue until it’s blue. They have spent years and millions of dollars selling the false narrative that Democrats draw “fair maps” while any and all Republican-drawn maps are “partisan gerrymanders.” While rhetorically cute, their primary goal has nothing to do with fighting gerrymandering as they repeatedly claim, but to put redistricting in the hands of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats and lifetime-appointed judges.”
Of course, redrawing districts to suit the current ruling party has been going on since almost the beginning of our Republic. Gerrymandering was named after Massachusetts Governor Gerry and the salamander. For real. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica:
Gerrymandering, in U.S. politics, drawing the boundaries of electoral districts in a way that gives one party an unfair advantage over its rivals. The term is derived from the name of Governor Elbridge Gerry of Massachusetts, whose administration enacted a law in 1812 defining new state senatorial districts. The law consolidated the Federalist Party vote in a few districts and thus gave disproportionate representation to Democratic-Republicans. The outline of one of these districts was thought to resemble a salamander. A satirical cartoon by Elkanah Tisdale appeared in the Boston Gazette; it graphically transformed the districts into a fabulous animal, “The Gerry-mander,” fixing the term in the popular imagination.”
I sure did not know that. Did you?
Now, Barack Obama and Eric Holder are using unelected Federal judges to get the results that the Dems can’t get at the ballot box. Holder leads the Democrat National Redistricting Committee found to ensure a favorable outcome in the 2020 Census for the Dems. On the Republican side, Scott Walker leads the National Republican Redistricting Trust which was founded after the Democrat group to counteract it. From Ballotpedia:
The National Republican Redistricting Trust (NRRT) is an organization that aims to position Republicans favorably for the round of redistricting following the 2020 census. The Washington Examiner reported in September 2017 that the group was formed as a counterweight to the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), a group chaired by former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder that is working to position Democrats favorably for the post-2020 census round of redistricting.”
Yes, the Democrats started this fight. I just hope that Scott Walker is the man to lead the Republicans into battle. Here is the video of Walker on the Fox & Friends hit that caught my attention:
Federal judges with lifetime appointments acting as activists. Boy, is that familiar.
Barack Obama is still pulling the strings behind the scenes with his wingman Holder by his side. The Dems tried in Wisconsin, they won in Ohio and Michigan, and the Democrat head of the rules committee in North Carolina is threatening to “Sue Until It’s Blue”.
This is the kind of important, behind the scenes machinations that we must pay attention to or else we will lose our Republic. Fair redistricting with no gerrymandering is what we, as a Nation, need. We cannot allow the Democrats’ strategy of sue until it’s blue to succeed.

Did you?
Yeah, we had that in history class.
Yes, the Democrats started this fight.
Meh. It’s something politicians do to ensure their continued incumbency. Just the Dems are now using it in lawfare, too, to sneak their politics in under cover of “bi-partisanship”.
