It kind of sounds like a cheap, unreadable bodice-ripper. Michigan Democrat Representative Debbie Dingell told CNN’s Jake Tapper of her fantasy of being locked in an internment camp. The hero/villain that she resists but secretly wants is President Donald Trump. Her true feelings leaked out on Tapper’s The Lead. Heh, heh, yeah.
Representative Debbie Dingell is the widow of the late Representative John Dingell, Jr., who is the nepo-Rep son of the late Representative John Dingell, Sr.. In total, these three Dingells have been representing Kalamazoo and Ann Arbor for ninety-three (93) years. Can you even imagine it? Dear People of Michigan, WAKE UP!
So here is what happened with Mrs. Dingell and Tapper on Monday’s show from Mediaite:
“[Trump] wants to deport Muslims, and he wants to start internment camps, and that‘s what we are busy talking to every voter. He’s telling you what he’s going to do. Believe him,” Dingell said.
“Internment camps?” an unconvinced Tapper asked.
“Yes, he has talked internment camps. You know what, Jake, you may have to visit me in one,” Dingell said. “I get worried enough when he talks about what he’s going to do to his political enemies, but he has talked about them in this with different groups of people.”
Tapper continued to press for what exactly Dingell meant by “internment camps” and how it related to Arab American voters in Michigan.
“Well, I’ve heard him talking about rounding up undocumented migrants and, obviously, for that, you would need some sort of camp. But what do you mean internment camps for Muslims and Arabs?” The CNN anchor asked.
Tapper was “unconvinced” because this is Dingell’s private fantasy. Watch the incredulous face he makes.
They’re completely losing it. Even Jake Tapper cannot comprehend the insanity.

Dingell claimed Trump has been “very clear” about internment camps in speeches to multiple audiences, but she admitted she did not have the “citation.”
The congresswoman told Tapper she’d find proof of what she was saying later and moved on to accusing Trump of “dividing” the country.
“He’s done a great job of continuing to divide us, and I don’t want to see — we are the United States of America, not the divided garbage country,” she said. “I’m proud to be an American; he needs to remember that he should be.”
Uh, who is dividing whom? Jonathan Turley used X to remind us that he warned of this five days ago:

From Turley: “Panic Politics: The Press and Pundits Face Devastating Polls on the Threat to Democracy”
Below is my column in the New York Post on the growing hysteria among press and pundits proclaiming the imminent end of democracy if Kamala Harris is not elected. The predictions of mass roundups, disappearances, and tyranny ignore a constitutional system that has survived for over two centuries as the oldest and most stable democracy in the world. More importantly, the public appears to agree that democracy is under threat but appear to hold a very different notion of where that threat is coming from.

Nevertheless, Harris supporters have ratcheted up the rhetoric to a level of pure hysteria. Recently, Michael Cohen, a convicted felon and Trump’s disbarred former lawyer, told MSNBC that if Trump wins the election, he will “get rid of the judiciary and get rid of the Congress.”
Recently, MSNBC host Al Sharpton and regular Donny Deutsch warned viewers that they will likely be added to an enemies “list” for some type of roundup after a Trump election.
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow also joined in the theme of a final stand before the gulag: “For that matter, what convinces you that these massive camps he’s planning are only for migrants? So, yes, I’m worried about me — but only as much as I’m worried about all of us.”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was quick to add her own name to a list that seems to be constantly updated by the media. She told podcast host Kara Swisher, “I mean, it sounds nuts, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy threw me in jail.”
On ABC’s “The View,” the hosts are becoming indistinguishable from tinfoil-hatted subway prophets. Whoopi Goldberg even explained how Trump is already committed to being a dictator who will “put you people away … take all the journalists … take all the gay folks … move you all around and disappear you.”
Fear and division is all they have. Rachel Maddow has the same bodice-ripper internment camp fantasy about Donald Trump:
If these women would just admit that they secretly desire Trump, then their little secret wouldn’t leak out. Remember the Covid vaccine?
I won’t forget the hysterics that wanted to segregate people based on their Covid vaccine status. I really believe if they could have, they would have put people into camps. The rhetoric was incredibly incendiary. Remember how the unvaccinated didn’t deserve medical care? Fast…

Neither would I, since you (and everyone else who has said this about Orange Man Bad!™) have probably committed numerous crimes in your political life. You’re probably breaking a law right now. So, yes, you should be thrown in jail.

Hoo boy. She’s gone nuttier than when she did Jumpin’ Jack Flash. She thinks Trump will take away ethnically different spouse from white people and reassign those white people new spouses (he’s going to deport all the non-white people). She was crazy-eyed doing that, too. Woman needs a long vacation in a padded room with her new best friend, Lithium.
All of this is funny as carp to see when these people are melting down, but remember that it is all projection. They’re telling you what they would happily do to you if given the opportunity to eliminate the troublemakers (kulaks and wreckers!) from the utopia towards which they are marching. When they tell you who they are, believe them.
