Brittney Griner has been released from a forced labor camp. The plane carrying her out of Saudi Arabia hadn’t reached cruising altitude before the racialists in the United States turned the very, very bad trade deal into a racial issue. The United States is getting played by destructionists all over the globe. We must stand together or the country will die.

The racialists must blame White folk, because they cannot acknowledge that the entire Biden Administration couldn’t negotiate a ten percent off coupon for ice cream. Our Lisa wrote about how the Russian media is mocking the bad trade and that only happens with the Putin Regime’s approval. Instead we get this from our own citizens:

Brittney Griner is a high-profile queer Black woman who has been critical of the United States and the national anthem. Those are her rights as an American citizen, but for some, that meant she should be abandoned in Russia. It doesn’t matter how many times the president and his staff explain that the Kremlin would only make a deal for Griner, refusing to even discuss Whelan, there are those who will see this as a white Marine being left behind in favor of a Black queer woman. I’ve been covering this story since day one and can tell you it is not that simple, but we live in a world where Black people are not allowed to have something good without white people having a reaction. To them I say, compassion and joy are not mutually exclusive emotions. You can feel one for Paul Whelan while simultaneously feeling the other for Brittney Griner.

Let me make this clear for those of you who want to be willfully ignorant, just because Brittney has been released, it doesn’t mean the president is giving up on Paul Whelan. In fact, both President Biden and Brittney’s wife Cherelle Griner made a point of saying they would continue to advocate for Paul and his family.

“… we live in a world where Black people are not allowed to have something good without white people having a reaction.” No, you live in a country where people of all colors, races and ethnicities are going to have a reaction. That’s it. If you think the rest of the world is like the U.S., YOU need to travel more.

None of the Americans held in Russia, including Brittney Griner, were innocents abroad and really should have known better. She has played in Russia for eight years. Before that, she played for China. Paul Whelan received a Bad Conduct Discharge from the Marines. He was not on his first trip to Russia either and his story gets sketchier by the telling. Even a disgraced Marine would not want to be released before a woman, right Marines? There is the sad case of Sarah Krivanek. From News Nation:

Sarah Krivanek, a 46-year-old American schoolteacher, was arrested Nov. 11, 2021, after a domestic dispute with her Russian partner, Mikhail Karavaev.

Krivanek sought advice from the U.S. Embassy in Moscow and was told she should leave Russia as soon as possible, according to statements obtained by People magazine.

However, the advice backfired when she was stopped at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport for an expired Russian visa. Her friends and family haven’t heard from her since.

The abuse appears to be backed up by photos and a voicemail obtained exclusively by NewsNation.

“I want you to know, I loved you. You always took care of me. You always took care of my cats. I’m gonna go to Russian prison because a person beat me up really bad, and I scratched him in his nose with a knife. There is no way to protect yourself here because there’s different rules. So if you don’t hear from me again, I love you,” Krivanek said in a voicemail to her friend Anita Martinez.

Finally, there is Marc Fogel:

Fogel’s case bears a striking similarity to Griner’s, which has captured national headlines since the WNBA star was detained in Russia in February 2022. Like Griner, Fogel — a 61-year-old history teacher from Pennsylvania who lived in Russia while teaching at the Anglo-American School in Moscow — was taken into custody by Russian authorities in August 2021 after customs officials at a Russian airport discovered around half an ounce of medical marijuana stashed in his luggage. The drugs had been prescribed to him by doctors in the U.S. to help treat chronic pain stemming from a series of injuries and operations, but Fogel’s reasons didn’t matter. Ten months later, in June 2022, a Russian court convicted him of drug trafficking charges and sentenced him to 14 years in prison. In October, Fogel was transferred from a Moscow detention center to one of Russia’s notorious penal colonies, where he is slated to serve the remainder of his sentence.

There is a phrase that describes all of these people: American Privilege. I will let Yung Joc explain so that we all will understand:

Other countries, repressive countries don’t play around. They don’t care what color you are, they hate your American Privilege. Until we all acknowledge that, we cannot have nice things.
