Big Beautiful Ballroom For The White House At Last

Yesterday, near the end of her Daily Press Briefing, Karoline Leavitt held up renderings of the inside and outside of a new ballroom for the White House. Not a replacement, but a first in the last 250 years Big Beautiful Ballroom. There is not a true ballroom in the White house. Immediately, the howls of protest began from The Left and the poor sods with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

This doesn’t seem like it should be a controversial subject, but it is. From The Hill:

The $200 million ballroom will be built adjacent to the White House where the East Wing sits. Leavitt said the East Wing will be “modernized,” with offices in that area relocated during construction.

The cost of the project will be covered by President Trump and other donors, the White House said.

“The White House state ballroom will be a much needed and exquisite addition of 90,000 square feet,” Leavitt said, adding that it would have a seated capacity of 650 people and would eliminate the need for a “large and unsightly tent” to host state dinners and other large events.

Trump has met in recent weeks with the National Park Service, Secret Service and other agencies to discuss the project. Leavitt said it would be completed before the end of Trump’s term in January 2029.

“The president and the Trump White House are fully committed to working with the appropriate organizations to preserving the special history of the White House while building a beautiful ballroom that can be enjoyed by future Administrations and generations of Americans to come,” White House chief of staff Susie Wiles said in a statement.

Trump has spoken in recent months about his desire for changes to the White House, including the addition of a ballroom. The grass in the Rose Garden has been uprooted in recent weeks and replaced with stone pavers.

Here is a non-shocker for you. Barack Obama/The Lightbringer did not seriously consider the offer when Trump offered it to them before Trump began his first term.

Obama White House officials confirmed in 2016 that Trump had offered to build a $100 million ballroom in the building, but they said they did not seriously consider the proposal.

Chuckles Schumer is also not a fan of the Big Beautiful Ballroom. According to the Anadolu Agency of Turkey and almost every other news agency:

US Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer slammed the Trump administration Thursday for unveiling a plan for a $200 million ballroom at the White House, questioning the source of the funding.

“A $200 million ballroom! Where’d this money come from? Did Congress appropriate it? I don’t think so,” Schumer said at a news conference.

His remarks came after White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt announced the construction of the new 90,000-square-foot (8,361-square-meter) ballroom, which will be able to seat 650 people.

Leavitt said President Donald Trump and other donors will donate the funds necessary to build the structure.

The project will begin this September, and it is expected to be completed long before the end of Trump’s term.

Schumer also cast doubt on the mission of the Department of Government Efficiency, arguing that instead of targeting wasteful spending, it was being used for “making cuts on Americans to fund their ballroom.”

“He announced plans to build himself a new White House ballroom so he can eat his cheeseburgers in there in luxury,” he said, mocking Trump.

Schumer is such a big fat baby. This has nothing to do with DOGE. Americans aren’t having anything cut to fund the Big Beautiful Ballroom. Congress doesn’t appropriate funding for a privately funded project. Schumer is a duplicitous lout.

These ungrateful little brains could just say “THANK YOU!”

Speaking of “little”, listen to this and tell me if you don’t think Schumer has shortcomings elsewhere:

THE MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM

Elementary schools generally have a multi-purpose room. That’s find when you are young. Flex spaces are fine for young families, but we are a world leader nation. We have been using the East Room in the White House as a multi-purpose room, but we are the world leader and we need a ballroom. Our 250th anniversary is next year, for crying out loud.

This video is a beautiful timeline of the State Dinner from the White House Historical Society. The specially built pavilions they mention are “tents“.

The Big Beautiful Ballroom will be a symbol of the White House itself to bring the full diplomacy and prestige of our Country. And you do want your guests to be comfortable:

I know it wouldn’t be this kind of tent disaster, but why take the chance?

And NEVER invite Chuck Schumer. He doesn’t get to play in the Big Beautiful Ballroom.

  • I might mention that it is a “transfer of wealth” from the evil billionaires and millionaires that contribute to the project to the “common people” that will be working on the construction process.

What Chuckie is mad about is that the money won’t go through the hands of the corrupt bureaucrats and their cronies first. (With his rake-off for campaign contributions.)

Besides going five billion dollars over budget, being completed twenty years late, and needing to be torn down for shoddy workmanship well before the 300th anniversary.
