We still have a month and a half to go in the Biden-Harris administration. There’s still plenty of time to screw over our allies.
It’s no secret that Joe Biden is an utter failure when it comes to foreign policy, especially in the Middle East. Where Donald Trump had great success in promoting peace, Biden promptly started kissing Iran’s ass. While old Joe was supportive of Israel after the horrors of October 7th (once his speechwriters put something on the teleprompter for him), it soon became clear that Biden was trying to placate Iran at the same time. The administration shoved gigantic wads of cash into Gaza humanitarian aid, built a stupid pier that eventually fell apart AND got an American serviceman killed, and undercut Israel’s efforts at every turn to decimate Hamas and save hostages. The fact that American citizens are still being held as hostages in Gaza is a shocking failure of the Biden administration, and the fact that an American hostage was summarily executed should have brought down retribution on Hamas. Joe Biden will wear this failure out the door of the White House.
Which is why he was really pushing this ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah in the north. Hezbollah’s leadership is utterly decimated, so why did Israel agree to the ceasefire? Not to give old Joe a last “win” as he leaves office, that’s for sure. As Ben Shapiro opines, the Israeli government knows that Grandpa Brandon is on his way out – and the incoming administration is going to work with them – so they just need to wait out this lame duck.
“If Hezbollah abides by the terms, so much the better: Israelis go home and live in security in the north,” Shapiro said in a post on X on Wednesday. “But Israel is working under the likely correct assumption that Hezbollah will not abide by the terms, and that the agreement as interpreted by the Trump administration will actually allow Israel freedom of action (a freedom of action denied by Biden under his spurious and ugly interpretation of the same agreement).”
Shapiro said that Israel, though it has been successful in its war against Hezbollah, agreed to the ceasefire because of three main reasons.
First, “Joe Biden has been slow-walking aid to Israel. That slow-walking has gotten Israeli troops killed,” according to Shapiro. The ceasefire gives Israel time to re-arm and wait for President-elect Donald Trump, who is much more supportive of Israel, to take office.
Second, the ceasefire relieves international pressure to end the conflict in Hezbollah that Israel has been under from the U.S. and France. And third, “Even under these conditions, Israel has an interest in taking Hezbollah off the board as a chess piece with regard to Hamas. Hamas has attempted throughout the October 7 war to rope in other powers to save it,” according to Shapiro.
“It is a 60 day ceasefire. Joe Biden leaves office in 54 days. That is not a coincidence,” Shapiro said.
Israel has already struck at alleged continued Hezbollah activity in Lebanon, so it remains to be seen if the ceasefire will hold.
Meanwhile, protesters across the United States were attempting to crash Black Friday retail shopping for Palestine. Anything for the attention, apparently – and too many are too cowardly to tell these morons to move, or get arrested.

Protesters blocked traffic for an hour on the Magnificent Mile on Black Friday to highlight the ongoing war in Gaza to holiday shoppers and to call for boycotts of major retailers that do business in Israel.https://t.co/2Au5CUdyB3

And while these pro-Hamas idiots try to block people from shopping, Joe Biden was out shopping with the family in Nantucket, where the Bidens gathered for Thanksgiving. Joe then appeared with a very telling item.

Nothing to see here, just a radically anti-Israel book in the lame duck president’s hands.
Biden, 82, left Nantucket Bookworks holding in full view of the press a copy of “The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine: A History of Settler Colonial Conquest and Resistance, 1917-2017” by Columbia University professor emeritus Rashid Khalidi.
The book argues that “the modern history of Palestine can best be understood in these terms: as a colonial war waged against the indigenous population, by a variety of parties, to force them to relinquish their homeland to another people against their will.”
Rashid Khalidi, for those who remember, had a friendly relationship with Barack Obama – something which got no coverage by the mainstream media during his 2008 presidential run, but as time revealed, indicated the level of animosity that Obama had for Israel. Khalidi, when told that Joe Biden had his book, had this to say.
“I do not speak to the Post (or the Times for that matter), so this is not for publication, but my reaction is that this is 4 years too late,” Khalidi told The Post, which did not offer or agree to any terms conditioning that response as off the record or on background.
It was not immediately clear if Biden purchased the book or if it was given to him while in the shop — after he and first son Hunter Biden, 54, dined with first daughter Ashley Biden and other family members at the nearby Brotherhood of Thieves restaurant ahead of the island’s annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony.
Khalidi’s book knocks Trump for enacting a range of policies such as moving the US embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights from Syria. The work was published in early 2020 before Trump brokered diplomatic relationships between Israel and five Muslim countries.
“Trump’s people abandoned even the shabby old pretense at impartiality. With this plan, the United States ceased to be ‘Israel’s lawyer,’ becoming instead the mouthpiece of the most extreme government in Israel’s history,” wrote Khalidi.
Yeah, this guy loves himself some bloodshed.
Khalidi writes that the “popular resistance” among Palestinians “can be expected to continue to mount.”
The author praises the First Intifada by Palestinians against Israel, which left more than 2,000 dead after nearly six years of riots and rock-throwing between 1987 and 1993, ending in the Oslo Accords that granted limited self-rule to occupied areas of the West Bank and Gaza.
“The First Intifada was an outstanding example of popular resistance against oppression and can be considered as being the first unmitigated victory for the Palestinians in the long colonial war that began in 1917,” the book says.
He has less positive words for the subsequent Second Intifada that’s better known for suicide bombings targeting Israeli civilians, which resulted in a notorious security fence segregating Palestinian enclaves, writing that “the Second Intifada constituted a major setback for the Palestinian national movement.”
Khalidi has tried to excuse October 7th in the year-plus since the attack, calling it “gruesome” while at the same time insisting that Gaza is “oppressed.” And it is his book that the current president of the United States walked out of a bookstore holding.
Whether it was a gift, or someone purchased it for him (you really think Biden carries money on him? Just ask Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff about paying up at retail shops), it doesn’t really matter. Being pictured with the book is much more telling than anything else. But it is the final straw on how his administration has continually undercut Israel ever since October 7th. It was easy to support Israel when it didn’t cost him anything. But after being heckled and protested, and seeing his Middle East foreign policy go up in flames, Joe Biden has revealed his true motives. He meant it when he said the protesters at the DNC “had a point.”
For the sake of ACTUAL peace, his presidency can’t end soon enough.

The book argues that “the modern history of Palestine can best be understood in these terms: as a colonial war waged against the indigenous population, by a variety of parties, to force them to relinquish their homeland to another people against their will.”
At least the book admits that the Palestinians are colonials fighting against a native population. That’s a step in the right direction.
It’s funny how they accidentally tell the truth when they don’t mean to..
Hah, joey bidet. When people tell you who and what they are believe them. Joey bidet is and has always been an ignorant sexist, antisemite, pedophile, fascist twit. For his entire career. All that one had to do was look. It isn’t happenstance that he has been wrong about every foreign policy decision or opinion. It is and has beena deliberate choice on his part. He is a vile, disgusting turd creature.
Sheesh!! Don’t mince your words…just tell us what you think. We agree with you!!!
Well some people and/or topics get me a little surly. My comment isn’t inaccurate though.
[…] IT WAS ALWAYS VISIBLE IF YOU WEREN’T WILLFULLY CLOSING YOUR EYES: Biden Shows True Colors About Israel During Lame Duck Period. […]
I’m betting it was some Obama retread staffer who put it in his hands, just so, so that the title was clear. China Joe* was simply told to hold this book.
This book was a prop handed to Joe. I have a great friend that is now in year 10 of Parkinson’s Disease and despite his past genius, professorship and engineering PhD he no longer reads anything. The similarities of Joe’s recent few years and my friend’s PD progression are striking. It’s a sad debilitating disease that befalls some people and it’s not their fault that they lost their abilities. It’s the Democrats fault they put Joe in office and didn’t use the 25th amendment to correct the mistake.
