Biden Drops Out Of Presidential Race

Well, he didn’t make it through the weekend. Joe Biden has officially announced, via his Twitter/X account, that he is withdrawing from the presidential election.

Biden, 81, announced Sunday he will no longer seek another four years in office after his physical and mental acuity were called into question following a primetime debate that broadcast to the world him struggling to finish sentences, giving confused looks and fumbling through his answers.

“It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden wrote in a letter posted to social media.

The president said he would address the nation later in the week about his decision. He did not immediately endorse Vice President Harris or any other candidate to be the party’s nominee in November.

“For now let me express my deepest gratitude to all those who have worked so hard to see me reelected,” Biden wrote. “I want to thank Vice President Kamala Harris for being an extraordinary partner in all this work. And let me express my heartfelt appreciation to the American people for the faith and trust you have placed in me.”

Jill Biden must be sobbing into her breakfast tacos right about now.

Despite the adamant belief by some that Joe Biden could and would stick it out and still be the nominee, it turns out that when you’re already politically weak, you can’t continue on with multiple knives in your back. Especially when those knives were coming from the biggest names in the party.

This decision by Joe Biden opens up several cans of worms. Ben Shapiro actually brought up the possibility of Biden quitting the race recently, and what the aftermath might be for the Democrat party.

But now we have the letter and some facts in hand. First of all, let’s start with the obvious, as was posited by J.D. Vance and now echoed roundly – how can Joe Biden remain president if he is in this fragile of shape?

Second, he did NOT throw his support behind Kamala Harris in the letter. THAT took a second tweet. WHOOPS.

Will this mean anything when people actually get their 92nd look at Kamala Harris, the candidate that has had to be “reimagined” so many times that it’s become a joke? Kamala Harris is not popular, and if she is “unburdened by what has been” – namely, Joe Biden – she doesn’t have the poll numbers to beat Donald Trump.

Will Kamala Harris be able to gather enough delegates in order to secure the nomination now? They aren’t pledged to her, so even with Biden tossing her his support, there is no guarantee that an internecine war won’t break out on the convention floor. The DNC has to be tearing their hair out right now.

Third, I can predict with absolute certainty that Hunter Biden will be receiving a pardon or commutation before his father leaves office next January. There is no political downside for Joe in granting Hunter that now. So, the Biden family grift, which sold “access to Joe” for years and years, will come to an end, but not until they wrung every penny out of using the senile old jackass. The media, which is already rushing to anoint Joe Biden as some kind of modern saint for stepping down…

… will simply excuse a pardon, once again, as “a father’s love for his son.” Hunter Biden, Frank Biden, Jim Biden – they’ll all walk away and have to find a new grift, but they will never face real consequences for how they enriched themselves up to this point.

Finally, a word of advice for Donald Trump and J.D. Vance. The playbook that they were going to use against Joe Biden has to be shelved. It would be prudent and disciplined to let the Democrats have their war publicly and all over the media without interrupting them. Rallies can still happen, but no mention of Biden or Harris or any candidate. Let’s see if Donald Trump shows the same restraint that he did after the debate, and wait to see what happens next. Patience is definitely a virtue here, and silence is absolutely golden.

However, we are in a dangerous period of time. Joe Biden is now formally a lame duck, and a senile one at that. Kamala Harris is unpopular and has failed at every task this administration has sent her to do. And not only that, Democrats have to decide on not just a presidential nominee, but a vice presidential one as well.

Buckle your seatbelts, everyone.

” Hunter Biden, Frank Biden, Jim Biden – they’ll all walk away and have to find a new grift, but they will never face real consequences for how they enriched themselves up to this point.”

The smartest thing would be to delay trials until after joe leaves office.. Not that will happen, but that would avoid the obvious pardons..

” Let’s see if Donald Trump shows the same restraint that he did after the debate”

Let’s hope.. let the dims burn themselves down, take advantage of what’s sure to be a shitshow 1968 redux, and just talk about their plans to bring America back from the brink..

  • So, someone finally managed to lock “I’m a Doctor!” into a bathroom (or slipped a roofie into her wine).

I think it’s unlikely that The Cackler will get the nomination. Expect everyone to suddenly surface, even if they’ve said they’re not running – to “save the Party,” of course. Hair Gel. Michigan Witch. The Hag. Even, possibly, Big Mike.

Checking my popcorn and bourbon supplies…

Vance needs to make multiple trips to the souther border (and a couple to the northern.) Just to show how much of an empty pantsuit Kamala is. Not say her name or anything.

    • Yep. Just emphasize the platform. But do note that ANY of the Democrats circling like sharks right now will have the EXACT same policies. Higher taxes, infanticide on demand, unreliable energy, borders open to invasion, wars wherever they can skim off the money, etc., etc., etc.

  • Edwdlny says:

This shouldn’t be surprising. They, the bidens, were just waiting until the payoff was large enough. They’re all whores who have now established their price. Joey bidet isn’t going to resign. He’s going to hold on long enough to pardon hunter. After that they will all skate with fat wallets and bank accounts. It is as it has always been.

    • Scott says:

The payoff or the blackmail…With the dims, it could be either.. Kinda surprised that neither of the usual trolls has showed up yet… probably both wetting their pants over what comes next, or being totally clueless on how to explain that they’ve been wrong / lying about old puddin brains mental / physical status, and we’ve been right all along, even while they attacked us for stating the obvious…
Then again, I’m not sure they have that level of self awareness, and if by some miracle they do, they’ll twist it around and still blame us..

  • Cameron says:

I still think they will have to run Harris as a sacrifice at this point.

    • Scott says:

Could be, but who else’s career do they want to end?

      • GWB says:

I don’t think Kamala’s electoral demise is all that certain, but that has been a big speculation – who do they put in the VP that they want to remove from the running forever? (What defeated VP has ever come back and run for President successfully?)

  • A reader says:

You are so delusional it isn’t even funny. Kamala will be the nominee. Just today, she’s had endorsements from a huge swath of the party, including major players, raised $50 million and counting from grassroots donations, and has secured the votes of many of the delegates. She may be on track to secure the nomination by Wednesday.

Also, I know you hate her because she’s a successful biracial woman— can’t have that unless she’s conservative!— but she’s more popular than you think she is. She did a tour recently and had large crowds, including many Gen Z voters. Oh and as usual, you completely under estimate the votes of women who are not in your echo chamber. Remember all the voter turnouts you after Roe was overturned? That wasn’t nothing!

I’m not saying it won’t be tough, because it will be, but it’s not impossible for her to win. Besides, with the upcoming public hearing on the evidence in the January 6th case, Trump’s sentencing in September, the growing awareness of Project 2025/Agenda 47 and Trump’s crazy rallies ranting about sharks and praising Hannibal Lecter, that all adds up to one hell of a ride between now and November. And I didn’t even mention the September debate, lol. Buckle up!

    • Everyone loves the story of the prostitute with a heart of gold that makes good.

Unfortunately, what little heart this whore has is made of lead.

    • SFC D says:

Successful? At what? Zero accomplishments as VP. She will be nominee, because the optics of passing her by would be political suicide. She’s only in the VP’s office because it was politically effective to install a bi-racial woman. She has no other qualifications.

    • Cameron says:

It’s so much fun watching you get rabid over this. It was only a few days ago you were praising Biden and what a great President he was.

Poor little bot. If you ever had an original thought, it died of loneliness.

    • Scott says:

“I know you hate her because she’s a successful biracial woman”… And there’s the turning it back on us… No, we despise her because she’s a whore that blew her way into every position she’s ever held, she hasn’t accomplished a single damn thing she’s been put in charge of since being installed as VP, she was the first one to drop out of the 2020 primaries because NONE of you dims liked her, and lastly, because in her close working environment with biden, she has been well aware of his mental and physical decline, and has continued to LIE to us about it… We know that you leftist drones are perfectly ok with being lied to by our “betters”, but we conservatives expect our “leaders” to tell us the truth..

So please, continue to show up and entertain us with your inane drivel..

      • He had to use his cards. Those that he could, anyway – homophobic and transphobic were not in his hand this round.

There are “POC” women that I respect highly, even though I disagree with them on quite a bit of policy. Tulsi Gabbard for instance. If I had for some reason voted in the 2020 Democrat primary (temporary insanity?), she would have had my vote as the ONLY honest one in the field, and not as much a disaster as any of the rest of them.

    • GWB says:

And there’s the craziness, right on schedule.
I don’t hate her – at all, really – for being a successful bi-racial woman. I just happen to think she’s dumber than most handbags and doesn’t have any “success” (other than the CRT Peter Principle) at all to her name.

As to the September debate? If it’s Trump against Kamala, with the same sort of restrictions that were on the June debate, she’s going to mop the floor for him.

    • DrSamHerman says:

There you go again with your fantasies and drug-induced hallucinations! Must be some pretty good stuff you are huffing or mainlining.

She was “so good” that comes off as a cackling mess of word salad with a side of Progressive Jargon Aphasia whenever she talks to a crowd. She makes a fool of herself wherever she goes internationally. And as far as her performance on the border crisis—if she is going to run on that record as the only responsibility she had in the government, she will lose. Or are you saying she did a great job while millions came in with absolutely zero border enforcement and the messes in every border state?

The sky must be plaid in your world. There’s no other explanation for your foaming-mouth, pseudo-intellectual attempt at “gotcha” scenarios that have no basis in material reality.
