The contrast in optics could not have been any more stark. While students at Barnard College decided to occupy the library to demonstrate their loyalty to Hamas, President Trump was meeting with former hostages and hearing their stories of torturous captivity.
Apparently on Wednesdays, Barnard College is going to have demonstrations and shut down classes. Last week, they disrupted classes, locked people out of a building, and defaced an office with graffiti in order to “protest” two Barnard students being expelled. They finally left after administration told them (an hour after the deadline that the administration first gave them), that if they left the building, there would be no punishment. That was a mistake then, and as yesterday’s events bear out, all these “students,” these little terrorist wannabes learned, was that the administration at Barnard was too chickenshit to enforce any punishment for them.
The disciplinary wheels at Barnard College apparently turn as slowly as frozen molasses. According to Columbia University Apartheid Divest, another Barnard student was expelled this last Monday, for helping “occupy” Columbia’s Hamilton Hall last April.
CUAD wrote that Barnard also suspended one student for participation in the occupation. The group previously announced in a Feb. 23 Instagram post that Barnard expelled two students for participation in the Jan. 21 disruption of the class History of Modern Israel.
Barnard President Laura Rosenbury wrote in a Monday statement to Spectator through a Barnard spokesperson that under federal law, the college cannot “comment on the academic and disciplinary records of students.”
“That said, as a matter of principle and policy, Barnard will always take decisive action to protect our community as a place where learning thrives, individuals feel safe, and higher education is celebrated,” Rosenbury wrote. “This means upholding the highest standards and acting when those standards are threatened.”
It seems that Columbia itself is finally disciplining students themselves as well for last April’s occupation and trashing of Hamilton Hall. How convenient that these hearings began in late January, when there was a change in leadership at the Department of Justice. The Barnard Hamas LARPers were convinced that the latest expulsion was in retalitation for their actions last week.
“It is no coincidence that a third expulsion came immediately after the Milbank Sit-in,” the CUAD post read. “After failing to win concessions through force by threatening students with mass arrests, Barnard thought it could scare us with further sanctions.”
And since they faced no punishment last time, the Barnard terror groupies went at it again. They started earlier in the day – and there was no way to mistake their intentions. They were handing out fliers filled with Hamas propaganda. They had a puppet of the college president to play with – and HANG.

The administration, once again, tried “gentle parenting” with these morons. They even tried putting the Barnard College president, Laura Rosenbury, on the phone to talk to these idiots. The administration passed out another scoldy letter, telling the widdle pwotesters to move along or they would get in TROUBLE. Nothing happened.
At least, nothing happened until a BOMB THREAT was called in. At that point, the NYPD showed up, and protesters began fighting with the police.
More than 50 NYPD officers in riot gear descended to the scene, ordering the more than 200 unruly keffiyeh-shrouded students to exit the Milstein Center and clear out at least 1,000 feet from the courtyard.
As cops struggled to remove protesters from the campus grounds, Columbia students joined in the fracas from across the street, chanting in solidarity with the Barnard students, “NYPD, KKK, they are all the same.”
Police eventually cleared the courtyard, but the students milled about on the lawn outside the building chanting, “no justice, no peace.”
After ignoring several orders to move a safe distance from the building, cops arrested multiple people and took them into custody. It was not immediately known how many arrests were made.
Other reports say at least 10 people were arrested. Out of 200 students??? That was IT?? And NOW the students are demanding MORE “amnesty” for this latest round of protest violence and disruption, along with concessions from the administration.
NEW: The Barnard Student Government has written to President Rosenbury to condemn the NYPD’s presence on campus (in response to a bomb threat!) and demand amnesty for the protestors.

If Barnard College does not start making an example out of these students, this insanity will never stop. Protests are already starting to spread out again as these idiots are emboldened.
Contrast those images at Barnard with what happened in the Oval Office today. President Trump hosted some of the recently released hostages, and heard their stories first hand.
President Trump met with eight released hostages from Gaza, listening to their heartbreaking stories. They expressed gratitude for his unwavering efforts to bring them & others home.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Trump met privately with former hostages Iair Horn, Omer Shem Tov, Eli Sharabi, Keith Siegel, Aviva Siegel, Naama Levy, Doron Steinbrecher and Noa Argamani.
“Today, President Trump took time to meet with eight of the released hostages from Gaza. The President listened intently to their heartbreaking stories. The hostages thanked President Trump for his steadfast efforts to bring all of the hostages home,” Leavitt said.
Hours earlier, the White House confirmed that administration officials had been holding direct talks with Hamas to secure the release of at least some hostages.
At least one American citizen hostage — Edan Alexander, 21 — is believed to remain alive following the abductions that took place during Hamas terrorists’ Oct. 7, 2023, rampage that triggered Israel’s invasion, which halted with a cease-fire agreement in January.
After meeting with the former hostages, President Trump issued a statement via Truth Social, which was reposted on X as well.
“‘Shalom Hamas’ means Hello and Goodbye — You can choose,” Trump posted in a message to the Islamic terrorist group. “Release all of the Hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you.”
“Only sick and twisted people keep bodies, and you are sick and twisted!” he continued. “I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job, not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t do as I say.”
Trump highlighted his meeting with the recently released hostages, saying that their lives have been “destroyed” because of the trauma they have experienced.
“This is your last warning!” Trump said. “For the leadership, now is the time to leave Gaza, while you still have a chance. Also, to the People of Gaza: A beautiful Future awaits, but not if you hold Hostages. If you do, you are DEAD!”
“Make a SMART decision,” he concluded. “RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW, OR THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY LATER!”
What “HELL TO PAY LATER” will look like is an open question. It’s clear that Trump is more than happy to sell Israel any weapons they would like (and apparently a build up of deliveries has been occurring) but will this also mean an American show of strength? Remember that Joe Biden sent naval carrier strike groups to the Mediterranean Sea right after October 7th – well before he decided to build his idiotic pier – as a show of American support for Israel? Could it be time to send another strike group back to the area – and this time, park them right where that stupid pier was, and inform Hamas that all the hostages, dead and alive, should be brought directly to the American carrier group? It certainly would send a message. Secretary of State Marco Rubio echoed the president’s demand for the release of the hostages.
"He's tired of watching these videos every weekend where hostages that are emaciated are released and bodies are turned over … He has lost his patience," says @SecRubio on President Trump's warning to Hamas.

The division between the spoiled college brats in terrorist cosplay passing out Hamas propaganda, and the President of the United States meeting with former hostages in the Oval Office, is gigantic. Academia needs to get a handle on these protests, or they need to start losing federal funding. Columbia University is already under investigation by the Department of Education for the anti-Semitism on their campus; Barnard College needs to go on the list as well. If the college administrators won’t enforce consequences for students, then the colleges themselves need to be stripped of funding and sanctioned under Title VI. These protests are ridiculous, and administrators need to beg, borrow, or steal a spine for themselves. If they want a clue on how to handle them, I suggest taking a cue from the president, decide what “HELL TO PAY” looks like for student protesters, and speed up those consequences.

May Gods peace rest upon those hostages and their families.
It’s long past time we had a President that will support Israel in doing what needs done in Gaza. Ham-Ass will never release all the hostages, at some point Israel (well, other than the peacenik idiots that encouraged this attack by their actions and appeasement) will run out of patience, and release the IDF.
NYPD needs to move in IN FORCE, arrest every damn one of the terrorist supporters. Confiscate all their student ID’s, for those that are citizens, they should be allowed to come back, WITH their parents, to collect their belongings, before being presented with a bill for their share of the damages caused, and then be expelled. For the non citizens, ICE should immediately be contacted, their visas cancelled, and their ungrateful asses be put on the first plane back to wherever they came from.
