Following the established modus operandi of terror, a van has driven into a pedestrian crowd in Barcelona, Spain.
Police officials have already called this a terrorist attack.

Official word at the time of this writing lists the number of dead at only one, though multiple media outlets, citing police sources, place the number around 13 dead.

One suspect is in custody.

There were reports that two attackers were being sought. So far, no official identification has been made.

Local police are now confirming 13 dead, and more than 50 wounded.

It is not known if he is the suspect in custody or not.

The death toll has been reduced to 12, the number of injured increased to 80.

Now there is a question about the suspect’s identity.
