The world is a cruel and violent place. Death, destruction and devious Democrats are everywhere. So, let’s have some fun, shall we? Let’s poke fun at Barbra Steisand and her Trump Derangement Syndrome. This won’t take long. Miss Streisand’s opinions on anyone to the right of Elizabeth Warren run the gamut of emotions from A to B (with apologies to Dorothy Parker).

Streisand becomes unhinged anytime a Republican gets elected to anything. To mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of President Ronald Reagan, Barbra took to her blog in 2011 to record his many sins. I am 117% positive the woman did not write it herself. In April 2001, Miss Streisand wrote a letter to Democrats in Washington, D.C. regarding the “destructive Bush Administration”. I am 98.3% sure she didn’t write this herself. Here is a sample from the UK Guardian report at the time:

The letter crystallises the feelings of many Democrat backers from the entertainment world who are puzzled that President Bush appears to have encountered so little opposition to his aggressively rightwing agenda.

The letter to senior Democrats is entitled “Nice Guys Finish Last or Where Do We Go From Here: A Case for the Democrats.” It chides the Democrats for not doing enough to attack Mr Bush and his policies.

“What has happened to the Democrats since the November election? Some of you seem paralysed, demoralised and depressed,” writes the 58-year-old Oscar-winning singer, actor and director, who has been one of the Democrats’ key fundraisers in Hollywood.

Of course, the election of President Donald J. Trump was far too much to take for a woman of Miss Streisand’s education, temperament, taste and erudition. Bwa ha ha. I just snorted laughing at how funny I am. Seriously folks, the woman wrote a song about the Trump Presidency called “Don’t Lie To Me”. Taylor Swift is gonna be totally jelly over Barbra’s wordsmithing in this song. Here in this video, Miss Streisand humbly and in the most understated fashion gives us the 411 on her epic poem set to music. Enjoy:

Look, I am just gonna be honest here. I am not a fan of Babs Streisand. I think she doesn’t sing a song. She kneels on the throat of a song until she chokes the life out of it. The women I knew in New York and Connecticut, bless their hearts, poured out tons of greenback dollars to go to every single one of her retirement tours. They thought I had no taste, which is most likely true. I also think that she is a hypocrite who abuses the help. One hears stories.

It’s kind of sad that she wrote a song about Donald Trump called “Don’t Lie To Me”. Streisand is flanked in the video by her two Yes Men. On the left is her husband James Brolin. On the right is her son Jason Gould. She claims to not like lies but no one in her life has told her the truth in forty years.

So, I will.

Barbra, dear, you oversing every song and your voice is past its prime. One more itty bitty thing: You are kind of starting to look like the “cat lady” Jocelyn Wildenstein. Would I lie to you?
