David Cameron spoke yesterday on the horrific beheading of David Haines:
“They are not Muslims. They are monsters.”
I completely agree with the his use of the word “monsters”. I also know that if a Christian or Jewish State committed atrocities like this, I would consider them to be “monsters” too. Civilized people will always call these individuals “monsters”. But Cameron seems to be having trouble with the other part of the description of jihadists who are responsible for separating heads from bodies.
We have already heard Barack Obama say, with a straight face, in a speech to the nation, that he believes ISIS/ISIL are not Islamic. Uh, what does that “I” in ISIS stand for? Interesting? Intriguing? Inventive?
So, the President of the United States and the Prime Minister of Great Britain want to reassure us by publicly stating that the current crop of beheadings, rapes, kidnappings, murders, and mayhem – all committed by the ISLAMIC STATE….is not done by Muslims. They are committed by terrible “monsters” that have no religious affiliation whatsoever with Islam.
A biography of Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi, the head of ISIS begs to differ:
Born a Sunni in 1971 in Samarra with the name Awwad Ibrahim Ali al-Badri al-Samarrai, he claims to be a direct descendant of the prophet Muhammad. According to a widely cited biography released by jihadists, “he is a man from a religious family. His brothers and uncles include preachers and professors of Arabic language, rhetoric and logic.” The biography and Arabic-language accounts claim he obtained a doctorate at Islamic University in Baghdad — which is presumably why several of his many aliases include the title “Dr.”
Holding degrees in Islamic studies and history, he is believed to have been an Islamic preacher around the time of the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq. The chaos of those months drove the 30-something into militancy, and he formed an armed group in eastern Iraq, one that reportedly never rose out of obscurity.
The opacity of his background, analysts say, suggests a broader truth of rising militant Islamists. “The mystery surrounding Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi — at the level of his personality, his movements, or even his relatives, his family, and those close to him — came as a result of what happened to previous leaders, who were killed after their movements were detected,” wrote Mushreq Abbas in al-Monitor. He is the “invisible jihadist,” according to Le Monde.
A doctorate in Islamic studies and an Islamic preacher. Nope…not Muslim at all.
I cannot explain this INSANE denial coming from world leaders regarding the religion of the ISLAMIC STATE that is currently on a rampage of evil. It makes no sense. At all. But very little of what politicians say or do makes any sense to me anymore. Why does Obama insist on a round of golf after every beheading? Some things are just too surreal to contemplate.
This article (and this one as well) goes a long way to explaining why these “monsters” of some mysterious religion use beheadings and other atrocities to “heal the hearts of the believers”…”believers” being Muslims, in case you didn’t catch my drift:
“This, then, is the true significance of Koran 9:14-15: “Fight them, Allah will torment them with your hands [mortally wounding and eventually decapitating ‘Amr], humiliate them [pulling his beard], empower you over them [standing atop him], and heal the hearts of the believers, removing the rage from their hearts [at the sight of his decapitated head].”
The logic here is that, pious Muslims are so full of zeal for Allah’s cause that the only way their inflamed hearts can be at rest is to see those who oppose Allah and his prophet utterly crushed—humiliated, mutilated, decapitated. Then the hearts of the believers can be at ease and “healed.”
This is surely one of the reasons behind the Islamic State’s dissemination of gory videos and pictures of its victims: the new “caliphate” is trying to heal the hearts of every believer inflamed for the cause of Allah.”
Maybe Barack Obama and David Cameron should try reading the Qur’an.
Because those “monsters” who aren’t Islamic sure have.

I suppose these politicians have to say that ISIS is not Islamic in order to forestall acts of “peace” from the “peaceful ones”.
RKflorida says: Cameron is an idiot. Muslim and monster are synonymous. He still thinks he can appease these animals. They are bad dogs and the only thing you do with bad dogs is put them down.
What I do not understand is the silence of Muslims who believe that the actions of these ISIS terrorists are NOT representative of Islam and ARE wrong. Why do they not speak up? In my mind, their silence is tacit approval. They are complicit in that they do not publicly denounce the actions of these brutal “believers.”

This is why until the supposed vast majority of Muslims either deals with the “tiny minority of jihadists” or expels them from Islam completely for being corrupters of their faith Islam at large will be always viewed by sensible people as nothing more than a form of totalitarianism with a religious veneer. This will never happen because even though most Muslims don’t have the urge to behead “infidels” they know that deep down the jihadists are actually the most pious Muslims in following the bloody parts of the Koran. And to remove the violence from the Koran would be the same as removing anti Semitism from Nazism-you’d have something different than what the creator intended.

Cabals of blue-haired Norwegian octogenarian Lutheran grandmothers in northern Minnesota who — as we speak! — are plotting to send batches of stale lutefisk throughout the country, endangering U.S. Postal workers and unsuspecting citizen recipients alike. A truly frightening scenario to many a security professional, I’m sure.
