Baltimore City Police Commissioner Single-Handedly Takes Down Thug

Let’s just call him Captain Kick Ass. Because Baltimore City Police Commissioner Anthony Batts has proven himself to be more than just a talking head. While some so-called leaders prefer to stand at the back of the line—cough, President in Name Only—Police Commissioner Batts is not one of them. Check out these photos of Commissioner Batts chasing, and then taking down a would-be Baltimore thug en route to an area mall to loot, er…shop, with nothing but his bare hands:

My work here is done.

Boom. Now that’s putting your money where your mouth is.

Meanwhile, Commissioner Batts, when not doling out attitude adjustments in his spare time, says that the Freddie Gray investigation was handed over to the Baltimore Office of the States Attorney this morning:

While Mayor Stand Down is busy hanging with Al Tax-Evader Sharp-Tongue at a press conference standing before a banner reading “No Justice, No Peace” (um, marching orders from the White House, there, Al?), Commissioner Batts is busy actually protecting the city he loves. Nice work, Commissioner Batts. Ten points for a brilliant take down.
