Social Justice Warriors and New Authors of American History found another “racist” hiding in plain sight. We can thank ESPN for their “sensitivity” when they pulled Asian play-by-play announcer Robert Lee off of his announcing duties for the William & Mary-Virginia game in Charlottsville, Virginia, on September 2nd because of his name and where the game is being played.

Yes, we said Asian announcer, Robert Lee. From a spokesperson at ESPN:

“We collectively made the decision with Robert to switch games as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name. In that moment it felt right to all parties. It’s a shame that this is even a topic of conversation and we regret that who calls play-by-play for a football game has become an issue.”

Yep. Robert Lee is a son of the confederacy along with Bruce, Brandon and Ang. I’m sure the Confederate General with the same last name was also fluent in Mandarin. From The Daily Wire:

For real, people. First, the “Racist Eclipse,” and now a major sports network is virtue-signaling and discriminating against a Chinese Guy because he has a “racist” name. We wish we could claim this as “fake news,” but this, ladies and gentlemen, is our new reality.
