On August 16, 2022, the fine folks of Alaska will have their Republican Senate Primary. Alaskans have an epic choice. They can choose Senator Lisa Murkowski to continue the Mitch McConnell blubbering and spineless-style leadership, begging for crumbs from the Uniparty Establishment. Or, Alaskans can choose Kelly Tshibaka, a former State Commissioner who has been endorsed by President Donald J. Trump. ‘Nuff said.

First things first. We, at Victory Girls, wish Miss Murkowski a speedy and easy recovery from her current bout with Covid. She is vaxxed and boosted. As I read him this information, even my vaxxed and boosted husband said that the vaccines aren’t worth shite. Welcome to the party, pal.

That being said, I don’t care for Lisa Murkowski. It was with a little glee in my heart that I read the Breitbart headline: “Poll: Lisa Murkowski Underwater with Alaska GOP Voters as Primary Nears:”

Establishment Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) is underwater with Alaskan Republican voters, according to a Monday Morning Consult poll. Only 41 percent approved of Murkowski’s job performance, while 46 percent disapproved.

And:

Murkowski’s campaign has been flooded with donations from large political action groups. Murkowski ended the second quarter with $6.1 million in her campaign account with a second quarter raise of $1.7 million. In contrast, Tshibaka has $1.1 million on hand and raised about $585,000 last quarter. Tshibaka’s campaign has raised a total $3.1 million.

McConnell, an ardent defender of the established order in Washington, DC, is one reason Murkowski has fundraised better than Tshibaka. “It’s important for Lisa to be reelected. She’s one of the few sort of moderates in the middle of the Senate,” McConnell said of his colleague in April. “We’re going to do everything we can to make sure she’s successful.”

McConnell loves moderates. Moderates question nothing about the Uniparty Establishment. Mitch and Elaine Chao still get invited to all the right D.C. parties and rake in the cash. If we take back the House and the Senate and leave the same old RINOs in charge, nothing will change. Our Rights will continue to be eroded drip by drip by drip.

Before we discuss Kelly Tshibaka, let us go back through the mists of time to 2018, a lifetime ago, when our Jodi wrote about how dirty Lisa Murkowski, daughter of Frank, has done us. From Jodi’s post:

It’s bad enough that Lisa Murkowski continues to stand in the way of defunding the abortion mill that is Planned Parenthood, even with video evidence that they illegally commodified aborted baby parts. And might I remind everyone that she voted to fund pretty much everything Barack Obama’s heart desired, including protecting the train-wreck that is ObamaCare?

And then along came Donald Trump who, in exchange for her vote on tax reform, solidified THEE thing Murkowski and so many Alaskans have coveted for decades: drilling in ANWR, a major boon to Alaska’s economy, and thus the nation’s.

And in return for that historic win, she did this: rather than support a highly-qualified man whose integrity is beyond reproach, she voted against Brett Kavanaugh to become the 114th Supreme Court Justice. Why? Well, firstly, she released this dreck on social media explaining that the Me Too movement—which has been weaponized against anyone the Left wants silenced—is bigger than one SCOTUS justice:

And:

Senator Murkowski is no shrinking violet. She propelled herself back into the Senate following elimination in the 2010 primary by Tea Party challenger, Joe Miller, only to then go on and win a write-in campaign that would have sunk just about anyone else. And I suspect Mitch McConnell’s Magic Machine will have something to say on whether she stays, or she goes, in 2022.

I totally forgot about that one. This Alaska Senate seat has been under the control of one family for 41 years. Frank appointed his daughter Lisa to his seat when he was sworn in as Governor. Time for Kelly Tshibaka. From the Breitbart article:

Tshibaka has highlighted Murkowski’s alliance with Democrats. “In Alaska, she says she is looking out for us, but in D.C. she turns her back on us, and she votes and parties with liberals,” Tshibaka said. “[N]ot one of these liberals has Alaska’s best interests at heart, yet these are Lisa Murkowski’s cronies.”

I remember Kelly Tshibaka from CPAC 2022 this past February. She was a poised and polished speaker. There is a real love in her heart for her native state. Here is her CPAC speech:

Lisa Murkowski voted for and helped write the Infrastructure/Green New Deal bill. ‘Nuff said.

Every Senate seat is vital. Alaska this is your time to end the reign of the Royal Murkowski family. No more RINOs.

The rot and corruption that infests our governments from local to State to Federal and every agency reaching out to every school and college and university and into our hospitals and medical communities is so pervasive and so deep and so utterly corrupt that I don’t know if we can even make superficial surface changes any more.

Sorry for the negativity but please feel free to disagree.

Well, I wouldn’t go so far as to say the Murkowskis have controlled Alaska lock-stock-and-barrel for all those years. Let’s not forget that Mighty Frank lost his gubernatorial re-election primary bid to a long-shot insurgent mayor of Wasilla, an unknown, name of Sarah Palin.

So let us wish Kelly and Sarah the best in their efforts to head to DC and stir up as much trouble as they can for the Uniparty in 2023 and beyond.
