Let’s face it. The presidential race is President Trump’s to lose. Even with the media firmly in the Democrats’ hip pocket, it will take a great deal for him to stumble hard enough for them to pick up the win they’ve been longing for since 2016. The potential of that becoming a reality seems even less likely after this weekend. Between Fumbling Joe Biden, Hootin’ & Hollerin’ Howard Dean, not to mention the DNC and the media, you have to wonder why anyone would even consider voting Democrat this election.

After Super Tuesday, Dems are tripping over themselves to line up in the “Go Joe” line. It’s become clear he is the candidate the DNC would much prefer putting up against Trump. For one, it apparently didn’t try to keep Klobuchar or Buttigieg from dropping out of the race right before Super Tuesday. Not did it try to keep them from throwing their support behind Biden in those last crucial hours leading up the Super Tuesday. I could almost feel sorry for Bernie Sanders because the fix is once again in against him.

Don’t groan. I said “almost”.

Biden Slips:

Even with the fix in, there’s no guarantee Sanders will lose the nomination like he did in 2016. How can you say it’s a sure thing when you have Biden doing something like this:

What the hell is an “Obiden-bama Democrat”? An Irish democrat who, in a drunk fit, added the nickname for his new state, Alabama, to his last name?

There was a time when I loved making fun of Obama because he couldn’t figure out what to do or say if his teleprompter went down. I long for those days whenever Biden takes the stage. Someone really ought to tell him to read the teleprompter and not deviate from it.

On a more serious note, one has to wonder if these instances where he misspeaks are simply gaffes or if there is an underlying problem. If it is the former, why aren’t his handlers taking steps to deal with them? They do not give the American public a sense of safety with the idea of him sitting in the Oval Office. If it is the latter, it should be waiving a big red flag for all voters.

And it makes the question of who Biden will pick as his running mate if he does win the nomination all the more important.

Then you have Bernie Sanders. The senior socialist of the Democratic Party has spent a large amount of money on adds lauding Barack Obama as president and implying the former president supports his candidacy. What Sanders forgets (hmm, am I seeing a pattern here?) is we all remember his criticisms of Obama over the years. That why, when we see the ads, we shake our heads and smile and mark up yet another politician who, when he opens his mouth, we know not to believe a word he says.

The Rip:

Saturday was a bad day when it comes to Democrats acting like responsible adults. The poster child for the spoiled Dem toddler was Howard Dean. You remember good ole Howard, don’t you? Former governor, former head of the DNC and former presidential candidate. Now he can forever be known as the one showing how too many liberals have no problem with conservatives being threatened or abused.

Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik and her husband did what many couples do on any given Saturday. They went grocery shopping. When they came out, they found a note left on their car. The note said, “Rot in Hell Fascist Pig”. As so many do these days, Sefanik posted a picture of the note on Twitter. Dean responded and, well, see for yourselves.

Any decent person would have left it at “I don’t condone this.” But no. Howard had to go on and condemn Stefanik. Apparently, it is okay to victim blame if that victim is a Republican. Can you imagine the uproar had the politician posting the same note been a Democrat and a Republican, especially if his name happens to be Trump, responded as Dean did?

And he is a member of the “compassionate” party. I really think they need to look up what that word really means. I guarantee it doesn’t mean what they think it does.

And the Trip:

I don’t know if the Dems are living in a bad acid trip–or they think we are–or if they’ve tripped and fallen and are trying to drag us down the mountainside with them. But the events of this weekend are the culmination of a long “trip” made by certain senior members of the party, by the DNC itself and by the media. All of it helps prove the Democratic Party is not who we should want running this country. It also proves they are even more clueless than the Keystone Cops, making it clear the election is Trump’s to lose.

Let’s start with the media. Between the editorials claiming Trump was so focused on “the border” that he missed Covid-19 to them mischaracterizing the naming of his new chief of staff, it is clear they are grasping at any and all straws to push Trump out.

And let’s not forget about how the media–and apparently the DNC–forgets that Lizzie Warren wasn’t the last woman in what started out as a crowd of candidates. Tulsi Gabbard is still in the race. Yes, she’s a long-shot. Yes, she has been deep in the pack from the beginning. But she is still there. Yet the party of inclusion and their media mouthpieces have ignored her in order to whine and whinge about how sexist voters are because they didn’t give Warren the votes she wanted.

But it gets better–or worse, depending on your point of view. The DNC has once again changed the rules about who gets to stand on the debate stage. I doubt this surprises anyone. After all, the rules changed before every debate, if I remember correctly. But, at a time when so many are moaning the loss of “the last female candidate”, it is ironic that the DNC cancels out the one woman still in the race.

Then there was Chuck Schumer earlier this week. After voicing his outrage earlier this year when Trump suggested that Justices Sotomayor and Ginsburg should recuse themselves from any case involving him, Schumer showed his own double-standards. Our own Nina wrote on the topic several days ago. Schumer that this, among other things, to say:

They’re taking away fundamental rights,” he said. “I want to tell you Gorsuch, I want to tell you Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

That threat is a great deal different from Trump saying he felt Justices Sotomayor and Ginsburg should recuse themselves.

What we have is a party so disgruntled with the results of the last presidential election, it has gone off the rails. There’s a socialist running for president under the party banner. Senior members of the party threaten Supreme Court justices and play the victim blame game. The leading candidate is either a buffoon or senile or both.

So yes, it is Trump’s race to lose. Just as it is our race to lose. If we don’t get out to vote, if we don’t challenge every Democrat who claims theirs is the party of tolerance of love, we run the risk of not only losing the White House but the Senate as well.

If your state hasn’t held its primary yet, make sure you vote. Then we all must make sure we vote in the November election. Do not hand the party of trippers and slippers and insane rippers take power. Trump’s gone a long way to “Make America Great Again”. Let’s not lose all that’s been accomplished because we let our overconfidence lose us the White House and Senate in the November elections.
