You guys, like, we need to, like, talk about Kristen Bell at the SAG Awards, you guys. It’s true, you guys, she was the first woman host. The “first lady”, as she called herself and spared no time to throw shade at THE first lady, Melania Trump. Take a look:
“I think my first initiative as first lady will be cyberbullying, because I have yet to see any progress made on that problem quite yet.”-Kristen Bell
This is coming from an individual whose Twitter handle reads: “do good. be kind. spread joy.” Except when the opportunity presents itself on a large stage to tear down a woman whose views may oppose your own. Then, all of that “do good, be kind, spread joy” crap just goes out the window.
Unfounded. Unwarranted. Unnecessary. Unkind. #KristenBell #SAGAwards #MelaniaTrump #POTUSTrump #FLOTUS

Melania Trump speaks six languages.
Kristen Bell speaks half-ass Joss Whedon-inflected Valley Girl.
Advantage: Melania Trump.https://t.co/RyIzzy5vxM

#KristenBell calls out Melania Trump at SAG awards. Why knock other women down instead of lifting each other up? So disappointed in her. 😞

Glad you mentioned that!
“Everyone’s story deserves to be told, especially now…as we march forward with active momentum and open ears, let’s make sure we’re leading the charge with empathy and with diligence.”-Kristen Bell
AHEM.You guys.
The irony is (and Kristen Bell as a female host is obviously but not surprisingly too dense to grasp this), while she tears down a woman in one breath and reads her fabulous cue card in the next (you know, the one where she’s not saying “you guys” or “it’s true” so you know these are not HER words), she mentions that everyone’s story deserves to be told. Melania also has a story:
This has been a year filled with many wonderful moments. I’ve enjoyed the people I’ve been lucky enough to meet throughout our great country & the world! 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/MMRi72ENd0
— Melania Trump (@FLOTUS) January 20, 2018
The First lady paid a school in Michigan a surprise visit specifically to talk about her stance on bullying. She visited with sick children at Childrens’ National Medical Center and an event for Military Mothers on National Military Spouse Appreciation Day.
Kristen Bell and her cronies have not moved ahead with “active momentum” (as her cue card suggests) or had “open ears” or open eyes for that matter. They have taken Melania Trump’s accomplishments and have shamed her for them, implying they are insignificant or not out of genuine sentiment. They have made fun of her for being an immigrant. They have mocked her accent, her intellect, they stooped to new lows when making comments about her son, they made a big deal about a pair of heels! She is a either a victim or an “enabler”, as some on the left like to call her. Despite all of this, she pushes on, leading the charge with empathy and diligence to a crowd of bitter, butt-hurt critics:
Doing good.
Being Kind.
Spreading joy.
Some of the best-of-the-best at SAG could not fake the emotion in the above photos even if they desperately tried. Perhaps Ms. Bell could take some lessons on empathy from the First Lady. Oh yeah…and hey…nobody freaking cares about Frozen 2. You guys, Hillary lost. It’s true. Let it go, let it go.
Hey, you guys. Who is, like, Kristen Bell? Is she someone I’m supposted to know about? Is dissing someone in public kinda like cyber bullying, or just meanness in fun?
Yes, she’s someone you should know about! Haven’t you seen Frozen like eleventy thousand times?! Haven’t you heard the incredible song that is just so incredibly deep sung with empathy and diligence from that movie?!? ZOMG! Where have you been?!
(I had to look her up on IMDB.)
I did see Frozen – or, part of it, till Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. So, like, for real, she’s a cartoon character?
active momentum
OK, I realize she’s not the sharpest tack in the cork, or she wouldn’t be an actress, probably. But…. seriously? WTF is active momentum? “Momentum” is, by its very definition passive. You can be increasing your momentum, but it’s not “active”.
as we march forward … we’re leading the charge
OK, are you marching or charging? Because they’re, like, TOTALLY CONTRADICTORY CONCEPTS.
charge with empathy and with diligence
Normally you charge with aggression, not empathy. And a charge is accomplished with anything BUT diligence. Your planning might be diligent, but the charge itself is an all-out rush to attack.
And, now, let me say that it might be slander to speak of the woman as an idiot for saying these things. It’s very likely the writers who are DUMBERER THAN DIRT.
The education system or the birth control hormones in the water have moved our IQ bell curve significantly to the left over the last few decades.
Dear God Almighty, please do not give us what these folks deserve.
I have heard some TV talking heads speaking of “awards season”, it seems to start in January and ends near December.
There is also something self-serving about a group of overpaid performers, who make an exorbitant living, pretending to be something they are not, voting and giving each other awards, then bragging about it. It must all be for the “little people”.
