You may admire her or wonder why she was ever appointed to be Secretary of Education. But Betsy DeVos was treated disgracefully by members of the Teachers’ Union on Friday morning as she tried to enter a DC public school. Giggly TMZ was delighted, saying her treatment was “Game of Thrones” style.
Well, at least she wasn’t beheaded.
While trying to enter Jefferson Academy through what appears to be a back entrance, she was met by a small group of protestors, including one loud-mouthed hipster type carrying a “Black Lives Matter” sign. He accused her of giving money to senators (like the teachers unions don’t?) and even attempted to block her vehicle from leaving.

Doesn’t this guy have a job to do? If he is truly a member of a teachers’ union, and therefore a teacher, shouldn’t he be, you know, teaching somewhere? Or did his district allow him a “personal day” so that he could shriek at the Secretary of Education? Or is this his way of showing his students that “this is what democracy looks like”?
But what can you expect from members of a union that just last month proclaimed DeVos to be “scarier than the KKK”?
However, it appears that Betsy DeVos’s trip to Jefferson Academy may not have been thwarted after all. She was able to enter the building. Joke’s on you, protestors!

So how did Secretary DeVos respond? With grace and grit:
“I respect peaceful protest, and I will not be deterred in executing the vital mission of the Department of Education. No school door in America will be blocked from those seeking to help our nation’s school children.”
Well said, Secretary DeVos.
…the action was done in
“Game of Thrones”“George Wallace” style.
Fixed.

“Yeah, we want to remain in our misery. So, let’s try to keep out a person who just might be able to help us.”
Can’t have those little minds upset with change and pity the poor children indoctrinated by those little minds.
