Chris Christie Demands “Arrogant” Hillary to Answer the Question about her Server

Love him or hate him, Chris Christie made us all smile when he turned to the camera this AM to talk directly to Hillary Clinton.

“Mrs. Clinton,” Christie said on “Fox & Friends” Monday, turning to the camera to address her personally. “This is not about politics.”

“Why don’t you just answer this question: why’d you have your own private email server? I worked for the federal government for seven years as a U.S. attorney,” he added. “It was made clear to all us when we walked in the door, official business is done on your official email account.”

He then appeared on CNN’s New Day, and took advantage of the opportunity to draw a parallel to Bridgegate, his own scandal, while doubling down on his behavioral critique of the Democrat front-runner.

“Could you imagine if after the bridge investigation began, I came out and said, ‘Oh by the way, I’ve done all my business as governor on a private email server, and I’ve deleted now 30,000 of those emails, but trust me, none of it had to do with the bridge’?” the New Jersey governor said in a Monday interview with CNN’s “New Day.”

“Gimme a break.”

“There is ample evidence here to criminally investigate her conduct,” he added.

Clinton, he said, is refusing to be transparent and speak to her “failed” national security record.

Truth be told, Christie was attacked after he allegedly deleted 12 text messages in an exchange between himself and his top aide on the day of the Bridgegate testimony in 2013. However, Christie claims that he did not receive any texts.

According to WNYC’s report last December, phone records subpoenaed from AT&T showed that Christie initiated the conversation, sending three text messages to aide Regina Egea on Dec. 9, 2013, who sent nine texts herself.

Democratic groups have already started lashing out.

“Has Chris Christie checked his own inbox recently or does he let his staff do that for him? In the federal criminal investigation into Bridgegate, Christie’s staff was caught red-handed for using personal emails and text messages to conduct state business,” said Adrienne Watson, communications director for Correct the Record, a pro-Clinton group that fires back against Republicans.

Regardless of his past actions, what Hillary has done is far worse, and Democrats need to stop deflecting. Her lack of transparency is astounding, to say the least. Her lackadaisical demeanor concerning classified material is disturbing in general, but when you think of such mistreatment coming from a Presidential candidate it becomes hard to stomach.

You may disagree with Chris Christie on plenty of issues but, as the saying goes, a broken clock is right twice a day.
