John Fetterman continues to surprise. Lately he’s been quite clear that he supports ICE operations. He’s supportive of the arrest and deportation of illegal aliens who commit additional crimes. Well, an activist DA, Larry Krasner, in Philadelphia isn’t a fan of Fetterman, or ICE.
Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner on Thursday said Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has “completely sold out,” slamming the fellow Democrat on CNN for condemning rhetoric that likens U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to Nazis, saying it can “incite violence.”
“John Fetterman is … the favorite Democratic senator of Donald Trump,” Krasner said during an appearance on “The Source with Kaitlin Collins.” “He’s said that repeatedly. And that’s because John Fetterman has completely sold out the principles on which he ran for office.”
“But what he’s been doing, for quite some time, for whatever reason — and we all know there may be a few reasons — is completely unacceptable for anyone who actually believes in democracy and who actually believes in the rule of law,” continued Krasner, who said he voted for Fetterman.
District Attorney Larry Krasner has a bone to pick with ICE. He went on quite the tirade earlier last week.
Isn’t he something? Calling ICE agents “wanna-be Nazis” is definitely dialing UP the divisive rhetoric and ginning up additional animosity towards federal agents.
Is it any wonder Krasner is ticked off at John Fetterman? Fetterman supports ICE operations and has a pretty clear view of who is really the problem around here.
Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) ripped anti-ICE protesters who are looking to dox immigration agents during an appearance on Fox News, with Fetterman saying the agents are being “driven” to mask their faces because they are worried left-wing protesters will try and hurt them — and their families.
Fetterman shared his disgust with pro-doxxing Americans during an interview with The Sunday Briefing co-host Jacqui Heinrich. The senator called himself an “absolute secure border Democrat” who wanted to see President Donald Trump’s administration “deport all the criminals.”
He then commented on efforts to dox ICE and Border Patrol agents. Fetterman said he was not a fan of it one bit.
“Some of those agents wearing masks, primarily that’s driven by people who are going to dox those people,” Fetterman said. “That’s a serious concern too, absolutely. They can target their families.”
The fact is, some ICE agents and their families have already been doxxed and targeted. But the rabid paid protestors and their sycophants in the media and law don’t care about that. They’d rather see illegal alien child molesters, abusers, drug traffickers, and other criminals walk free.
Is Fetterman a complete fan of DHS and ICE operations? Not completely. He’s also called out Kristi Noem in how Minneapolis was handled.
.@POTUS @realDonaldTrump: I make a direct appeal to immediately fire @Sec_Noem.

Americans have died.
She is betraying DHS’s core mission and trashing your border security legacy.
DO NOT make the mistake President Biden made for not firing a grossly incompetent DHS Secretary.
WHEW. That’s pretty blunt. But accurate. Noem didn’t handle things well at all, and Mayorkas was a complete and utter failure while head of DHS. Furthermore, Fetterman is also on record noting that there are changes in tactics and more that need to be made at DHS and ICE.

That said, John Fetterman wasn’t going to let Larry Krasner’s commentary slide.
Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., told District Attorney of Philadelphia Larry Krasner to “lighten up” on Sunday after Krasner came after him during a CNN interview.
“He really ought to lighten up, Francis,” Fetterman told Fox News host Jacqui Heinrich, in an apparent reference to the 1981 comedy “Stripes.”
“A lot of the tough talk coming out of his office, that’s just pandering to people,” he continued.

Fetterman expressed support for deporting criminal migrants and securing the U.S. border, acknowledging that he and Krasner do not agree on every issue.
“But I’m not going to criticize or attack him,” the senator said, adding, “Regardless, that’s a hard rule for anyone — don’t compare anyone to Nazis.”
Too many politicians lately have been labeling those they disagree with as Nazis. It’s a term that should NEVER be used and isn’t applicable in any instance. Fetterman is correct. Stop using that word to define your opponents.
The Democrats have gone so far left, that Fetterman now on a regular basis seems to be a conservative and is guilty of using common sense.

Fetterman continues to remain consistent. Riots and out-of-control protests are wrong. Defunding ICE is wrong. Advocating for legal immigration is a better path.
And yes, Larry Krasner, Tim Walz, and so many others just need to “Lighten Up Francis!”
