What the actual freak? Darn, durn, damn. I am so mad I could chew nails and spit out a barb wire fence. Maybe the Supreme Court enjoys a GEE DEE circus and are a bunch of drama addicts. SCOTUS denied Donald Trump’s application to delay sentencing in his NY hush money case last night. We were not shocked when the New York Supreme Court refused, but this? So tomorrow D.A. Alvin Bragg will fulfill a campaign promise and Judge Juan Marchan will make sure his daughter has a good financial year. Fecking bunch of eejits.

If you can remember back that far, this was the Stormy Daniels hush money case that D.A. Bragg stretched into 34 counts. Judge Marchan was as biased as can be and a Manhattan jury found Trump guilty on all charges. Gah! The sentencing tomorrow is going to happen. Kagan, Sotomayor and Brown-Jackson were not a surprise and I guess we shouldn’t be surprised by Roberts and Coney Barrett anymore. From CNN, here is the short and bitter order:

The application for stay presented to Justice Sotomayor and by her referred to the Court is denied for, inter alia, the following reasons. First, the alleged evidentiary violations at President-Elect Trump’s state-court trial can be addressed in the ordinary course on appeal. Second, the burden that sentencing will impose on the President-Elect’s responsibilities is relatively insubstantial in light of the trial court’s stated intent to impose a sentence of “unconditional discharge” after a brief virtual hearing.

Justice Thomas, Justice Alito, Justice Gorsuch, and Justice Kavanaugh would grant the application.

The “alleged evidentiary violations” can be addressed in the normal course AND the burden on Trump’s “responsibilities is relatively insubstantial”.

SCOTUS is a bunch of fecking eejits. The masses who are excited will have the sads when they realize there is no jail time and no probation like this young’un.

This is one of the few happy moments that SCOTUS can give The Left before January 20, 2025 when Trump 2.0 gets inaugurated again. Joy (less) Reid was giddy last night.

Joy, Lisa and Paul are so excited to finally be able to call Trump a felon. They are totally and completely delusional about who and what Trump is. They think Trump appoint SCOTUS justices for his own protection. Not ours. Lisa Rubin talks about the gravity of Trump’s crimes. What crimes? Paul Butler is delusional and mean. Surprised that SCOTUS abide by the Rule of Law. Feck off, douche. Joy Reid thinks that the Supreme Court Immunity Ruling means Trump can commit any crimes he wants. Feck all the way off. Roberts’ fealty to Trump versus his fealty to the legitimacy of the Court? These people live in an ugly parallel universe.

Butler says Trump never cared about reform of the legal system or Black and Brown people? He is a functional moron. Butler is an expert in incarceration. I guess he preferred the Biden 1994 Crime Bill that overwhelmingly incarcerated Black and Brown people. I guess Butler forgot about the First Step Act that immediately released 4000 people, including Black woman Nora Yahya.

There is absolutely nothing that Donald Trump could do to make Reid, Rubin and Butler happy. They love to marinate in their unhappiness.

But we are happy warriors because our once and again President is a happy warrior.

Trump said he thought it was a “fair decision” and alluded to further action he may take.

“We’re going to appeal anyway, just psychologically, because frankly it’s a disgrace,” Trump said in response to a reporter from a reporter at Mar-a-Lago, going on to criticize the case against him.

While the appeal to delay sentencing was struck down by the Supreme Court, the highest court in the land, Trump could still attempt to appeal the verdict itself.

He said that he respected the court’s opinion.

“I’ll do my little thing tomorrow. They can have fun with their political opponent,” Trump said, trying to paint the judge as overseeing a politically motivated case.

No need to paint the judge as overseeing a politically motivated case, he DID oversee a politically motivated case. Trump should mess with them all by showing up in person for the court case. That will mess with their heads.

SCOTUS may have given The Left a yuge gift, but we are going to get the bestest giftie ever when Trump 2.0 is inaugurated on January 20. The Left can go sit and spin on that.
