Benjamin Netanyahu Calls United Nations “Contemptuous Farce “

The sun comes up in the East and sets in the West. Benjamin Netanyahu speaks at the United Nations and a bunch of Israel-hating countries walk out. Me wanting us out of the U.N. These are things you can take to the bank.“.

The anti-Semites who travel to New York City to protest hate Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as much as they hate Israel. As Deanna told you this morning, those, um, protesters were looking to protest all night at the Loews Regency Hotel in Midtown screaming “We’re gonna get you” to intimidate Netanyahu and his wife. Pfft. as if.

Hard to believe that we have allowed this Israel and America body has been around for 79 years and we haven’t yet drop kicked it off of our shores.

Naturally, a bunch of hater countries walked out of the General Assembly when Benjamin Netanyahu was announced.

Or, Miss Emilia, they were afraid their pagers would explode. Heh, heh, heh. Had those countries stayed they would have heard an epic and righteous leader. Voila:

He came to set the record straight after the shit lies he heard this week. The same timeless choice that Moses put to the people of Israel. The people’s choices will determine whether they leave a blessing or a curse to the future. Remember that Israel did not choose to be attacked on October 7 of last year.

The Hill called Netanyahu’s speech “defiant”. I think the word they were looking for is “righteous”:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu struck a defiant tone Friday at the United Nations, telling diplomats and world leaders that his country will continue fighting for its right to exist even as he pushed for a wider peace in the Middle East.

Netanyahu, speaking at the U.N. General Assembly in New York as fears of a wider war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon are mounting, decried the “curse” of Iran as he vowed to continue fighting back against Iranian aggression across the Middle East.

“If you strike us, we will strike you,” Netanyahu said. “There is no place in Iran that the long arm of Israel cannot reach, and that’s true of the entire Middle East. … We are winning.”

Netanyahu called for the world to stand up against the Iranian government and support regime change in Tehran, saying Iran represented a dire threat to the world.

You have to admit this is much better language than Joe Biden’s weak offering.

The Times of Israel noted some of the strong phrases that Benjamin Netanyahu used to make his points:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calls singling out Israel “a moral stain on the United Nations,” and decries the institution, with unprecedented bitterness, as “a swamp of antisemitic bile” and a “flat earth society.”

The UN, he says, has rendered itself contemptible in the eyes of decent people because of its obsession with Israel. Any false charge against Israel can muster a majority, he notes, specifying that the General assembly he is now addressing has passed 174 resolutions against Isrsael in the past decade — far more than double the number against the entire rest of the world.

“What hypocrisy. What a double standard. What a joke,” he says to applause from the gallery.

If the Middle Eastern countries like Bahrain, Jordan and Saudi Arabia want peace, THEY should stop Iran.

Benjamin Netanyahu left NYC shortly after his speech to fly home to Israel. He is following up on the hit on Hassan Nasrallah:

Israel targeted Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a strike Friday on Beirut, according to a senior U.S. official. Nasrallah and some of his lieutenants were in Beirut making a quick visit when the strike took place, according to the official.

Israel let the U.S. know less than an hour before this strike that it was going to target Nasrallah, the official said.

It’s unclear whether the strike was successful.

He will be back in Israel in the morning. Hopefully, they will have clarity.

We, the United States of America, should be out of the United Nations for many reasons. The fact that the United Nations is a Contemptuous Stain is a damn good reason.

There are 193 nations which are UN members. The U.S. provides 1/3d of the UN’s budget, plus support because its HQ is located in the US.
Since the UN no longer represents US values, we should reduce our support to our pro rata share – 1/193d. Let the countries which like to live on our money, but don’t share our values provide the funds for their own up keep. It’s the philosophy of “You can say what you want as long as you pay your own tab.”

The only thing that the UN is good for is hiring child prostitutes and finding new ways to blame America, Israel and the whole of Western Civilization for the world’s troubles.

You have to admire Netanyahu. The only thing that could have made his speech and the air attack on Hezbollah better is if it were filmed like the final scene of The Godfather–cutting back and forth between Netanyahu condemning the UN as a wretched hive of scum and villainy and the bombs sending Nasrallah to collect his 72 virgins.

Someone should remind Biden/Harris that there was a cease fire on October 6, 2023, and that Hamas used to cease fire to arm themselves and to attack innocent Israelis (and Americans, for that matter). Nothing short of the destruction of Hamas and Hezbollah will provide the Israelis with security. For that matter, Iran needs to go, as well–or at least be rendered so impoverished that it can’t finance international terrorism.

    This really isn’t that complicated.

I wholeheartedly agree. The ineptitude of the U.S. to infuse Iran with billions of dollars, to then allow Iran to fund terrorists, to allow for the continued development of Iranian WMD’s, and be a part of the U.N. is a dark stain on us. Sometimes, when the veterinarian says that there is nothing more to be done, you just have to put the dog down. That, and only that, will end this stain on the world stage. The Iranian government needs to go. I want to see a flow chart with all the Iranian leadership X’d out with a deceased cross on their picture.

Long live Bibi, Mossad, and the IDF. The true hero’s of the world. The U.S.’s current administration, (Biden/Harris), can go stand with the terrorists if they want to (Under a school or hospital perhaps). Their complacency is the direct reason Israel is in this mess in the first place. November 5th can not get here fast enough.

  • Craig Fellows says:

A list should be published of all the country representatives that walked out when Bibi took to the podium. This would clearly show who our enemies are. We, as a country, could then ensure that no American dollars ever touches the soil of their nation(s), again. EVER.

    • Chad King says:

Great idea. Consequences for bad behavior would certainly cut down on anti-American behaviors (which manifest as anti-Israel behaviors). Works for two-year olds and dogs–ought to work for countries, as well.

  • Tim says:

The UN made sense in 1945 but now it’s just a vessel for concentrating malignant anti western actors and giving them western money. Move UN HQ to Port au Prince and be done with it.
