Joe Biden woke up one day a few weeks back and just didn’t want to be president anymore. He handed the job to Kamala Harris and everyone, for weeks, wondered where Joe Biden was.

Was he even alive? Do we even have a “president” anymore? He vacationed in Rehoboth, was seen on a bicycle (we wondered if it had training wheels?) and now, according to the media, is focusing on his “legacy” as the outgoing “president” of The United States by launching the “Cancer Moonshot” program…yet again.

Remember back in the day when Barack Obama said Joe Biden will be the guy to cure cancer once and for all?

CNN is laying it on thick, as most of the media puppets have been as of late. Kamala Harris is the joyful candidate. Her joy is infectious. Joe Biden? He can’t seem to get himself out of a paper bag, but he is going to cure cancer! He’s going to reduce cancer occurrences by half, he says!

He’s been saying this for years.

Biden flew to Tulane University in New Orleans yesterday to announce the $150 million in new cancer research awards to eight organizations, including $23 million to the university itself. There have been several iterations of Joe Biden’s Cancer Moonshot program. This is what…? Number 30?

President Joe Biden’s first public event planned since his exit from the 2024 race last month marked a cause close to home: Announcing a major financial award from the cancer-curing policy arm he created in the wake of his son Beau Biden’s death.”-Kayla Tausche, CNN

Billions of funding has come in since 2022 and, as CNN states:

The Cancer Moonshot has received $4 billion from Congress and awarded $400 million to outside entities since it was jumpstarted in 2022 – a sizable budget for a single policy, but a drop in the bucket compared to the trillions of dollars of new government spending the Biden administration has ushered in.”-Kayla Tausche, CNN

See? Joe Biden did do something during his presidency. HIS administration ushered in trillions of dollars of new government spending!

And, while Joe Biden picks and chooses his remaining pet projects as “president” for the next few months, focusing on his “legacy”, Saint Kamala will authorize the spending and disperse the funds for said “pet projects”. We’re not just talking cancer research here. We’re talking doling out tens of billions of funds to include those earmarked for “clean energy legislation”-to include Kamala’s electric school buses.

The craziness in all of this is that CNN is reporting these billions and billions (I know, I sound like Carl Sagan) of dollars of government spending as if it is a good thing. Look, everybody! Joe Biden is alive and well! And, he’s going to take another shot at curing cancer once and for all! As a side note, cancer is not something I would wish on anyone. Cancer is horrific. Providing funding to research and eliminate cancer is a great and worthy cause. But is Joe Biden going to singlehandedly do this? C’mon, man! And, let’s read between the lines here. CNN throws out a bunch of other initiatives of the Biden admin and the money they are throwing at them in this word salad of theirs, quickly jumping in head-first with Biden’s policy shortlist:

(And) during his Oval Office address discussing his departure from the race last month, Biden said the initiative – as well as reforms on guns, climate and the Supreme Court – would keep his focus this fall.”-Kayla Tausche, CNN

He could not “keep his focus” for ten minutes during the first Presidential Debate. He’s “focused” now?!

But Joe Biden is “zeroing in on goals closest to his heart” (AP).

Joe Biden had the chance to “cure cancer” when he was Vice President. He didn’t do it then, sadly, he won’t do it now. Kamala Harris was given the job of strengthening our borders. She didn’t do it when the task was given, and she’s not going to do it when and if she moves into The White House. If we look closer, our friends at CNN spelled it out for everyone even if this was not their intent. While Joe Biden may throw some money at research centers for his Cancer Moonshot, the rest of the spending is not going to be on anything that is remotely important to us in the future. He’s “finishing the job”, alright. They will spend us all into oblivion. This is his legacy.
