Hit back twice as hard

Interestingly, the population of the US is still majority white … not counting Hispanic/Latino who are not a “race” no matter how they fall in the Pantone Color chart. But rabid DEI Marxists have decided, regardless of employment laws, white straight males have nothing to offer the workplace.

CBS and parent Paramount Global are being accused of “blatant” discrimination against a white, heterosexual male freelance writer as it imposed stringent diversity rules for writers on its “SEAL Team” series, according to a federal lawsuit.

Brian Beneker, a script coordinator and freelance scriptwriter for CBS’ “SEAL Team,” was unlawfully denied a staff writer position due to his race, sex and sexual orientation, according to the complaint, filed Thursday in US District Court of Central California. (snip)

Beneker’s lawyers from America First Legal Foundation and JW Howard Attorneys cited a widely reported mandate from CBS chief executive George Cheeks to “set a goal that all writers’ rooms on the network’s primetime series be staffed 40% [with] BIPOC [black, indigenous and people of color] in the 2021-2022 season.”

CBS raised the requirement to 50% BIPOC writers in the 2022-2023 season of TV, and a requirement of 50% of cast members on their reality shows to be BIPOC, court papers said, noting that the hiring policies are shared across Paramount Global.

The lawsuit relies on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

This may be only about entertainment, but a lot of this woke nonsense is resulting in some pretty cringe-worthy shows and movies across the industry. Right, Disney?

Illegal Alien cops

Really LAPD? REALLY?

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is hiring illegal border crossers with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status and equipping them with guns to police American citizens in California.

You remember “DACA”, right? Barry Obama’s Dreamers … his cynical, anti-American executive order that even he didn’t feel was legal?

Until recently, California only allowed U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents in the process of obtaining citizenship to serve as law enforcement. In 2022, the Democrat legislature passed a law authorizing any of the hundreds of thousands of illegal border crossers, including DACA recipients, who obtain work authorization to join police forces across the state.

While some cities like Sacramento refused to hire illegal border crossers due to concerns about gun law violations, LAPD handed jobs and firearms to nearly a dozen DACA aliens.

Remember, Gavin Newscum is running for president.

“Lacrosse My Heart,” a nonprofit spearheaded by six student lacrosse players from Roslyn High School in New York, most recently raised enough funds to support a wheelchair lacrosse team, the Long Island Hammerheads.

“My friends, my co-founders and I have been playing together since we were five years old and lacrosse has done so much for us, so we wanted to give back to the community by connecting through organizations like the Hammerheads or people who have not been exposed to lacrosse at a young age and show them the love of the sport,” Zach Mashaal, co-founder of the organization.
