A conservative friend of mine posted this simple comment about how Elon Musk is driving progressives crazy:
“Troll level = Thor.”
And yes, he did it again. The response of one Ph.D. level behavioral scientist (notice how the initials are “BS”) to a Musk tweet was classic leftwing insanity on steroids.
Here’s Musk’s simple and cryptic tweet:
https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1602472202619654144?s=20&t=JgG44ujjbblPijowhS3i-w
Hmm, that’s a head scratcher. Whatever did Elon mean with this tweet?
This may be the bunny that Musk was referring to, considering that he’s promising a Twitter dump of Anthony Fauci’s shenanigans.
This is the white rabbit @elonmusk was referring to. https://t.co/LNYdX1BumM

But one Twitter user, behavioral “scientist” Caroline Orr Bueno — with a Ph.D. y’all! — tweeted that with the little bunny emoji, Musk is promoting QAnon.
“Elon Musk is now explicitly encouraging his 120 million followers to start following QAnon. Put differently, Elon Musk is encouraging his 120 million followers to join a domestic terrorism movement.”
But Caroline Orr Bueno, Ph.D. wasn’t done. No, she came with receipts!
“Yeah so QAnon fans have definitely noticed Elon Musk’s “follow the white rabbit” tweet and have already started connecting it to adrenochrome, Podesta, Hillary Clinton, child trafficking, Saudi Arabia, & more.”
“The storm is ramping up…”
Orr Bueno is getting ratio’d bigly at her Twitter feed, so in case she blocks and limits her feed (for which she supposedly paid $8 to keep her blue check), here’s a screenshot of the original tweet.
She also accused Musk of “monetizing” death threats against ex-Twitter employee Yoel Roth, Twitter’s former head of “Trust and Safety.” According to CNN, Roth was “forced” to leave his home due to online threats.
Orr Bueno, Ph.D., tweeted:
“Elon Musk is essentially monetizing the death threats being lobbed at Yoel Roth. If this isn’t stopped, it’s not a matter of “if” but “when” someone will get killed because of it.”
No one should get death threats, of course. But I wonder if Orr Bueno, Ph.D., expressed any outrage when the execrable Taylor Lorenz not only doxxed Chaya Raichik — who runs the popular “Libs of TikTok” — but showed up at homes of her relatives?
Or when a man stalked and conspired to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh? Or when NY Rep. Lee Zeldin was attacked onstage during a campaign stop in Rochester, NY?
I’ll give $100 for Things That Never Happened, Alex. Especially when Orr Bueno, Ph.D., is the same person who wrote a 2019 article in Medium entitled, “In Defense of Antifa.”
Remember how I told you of my friend’s comment that Musk operated at “Troll Level = Thor”?
Well, he outdid himself with his response to Caroline Orr Bueno, Ph.D.
Tweeting that “This tutorial video explains the backstory,” Musk posted a video of the killer rabbit in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
But Caroline Orr Bueno, Ph.D., is doubling down on her accusations. Here are some of her brain droppings on the Elon Musk bunny emoji:
“The whole point of memes & “memetic warfare” is to convey a message while maintaining plausible deniability. The ambiguity is the key feature. Using comical images/language is what allows bad actors & networks to organize violence behind the veil of humor & plausible deniability.”
Pretentious academic twaddle. But wait! There’s more!
“Elon Musk has responded to multiple people in my replies (so he’s aware of how his tweet is being interpreted), but still won’t deny that he tweeted a QAnon dog whistle. If he didn’t want it to be interpreted that way, there’s an easy way to fix that.”
“It’s also one of the earliest QAnon references. Like, one of the very first. And I find it extremely hard to believe that a sh*tposter like Elon doesn’t know this.”
Dog whistle, huh? Maybe Orr Bueno, Ph.D., is the only dog who can hear the imaginary whistle.
This woman reminds of a joke a professor told in one of my classes when I started graduate school. The story is about the difference between Bachelor’s degrees, Master’s degrees, and the Ph.D, and it went like this:
“You know what BS means, right? Well, MS means More of the Same. And Ph.D. means Piled Higher and Deeper.”
Caroline Orr Bueno, Ph.D., is a prime example of Piled Higher and Deeper. Elon Musk brilliantly showed her as just another purveyor of progressive bullshit who lost her mind when Musk decided to promote not QAnon, but free speech at Twitter.

QAnon? Seriously? My interpretation was that it’s a reference to Alice in Wonderland, perhaps with a side order of The Matrix. But then, I’m not certifiable.
I was torn on initially seeing it between Matrix and Monty Python.
My dad’s explanation of degrees when I was young… DANGIT! You already told that joke!
Roth was “forced” to leave his home due to online threats.
I don’t believe it. Also, even so, someone so awful probably should be run out of town on a rail. Barring that, jetting off to a vacation home will probably have to suffice.
entitled, “In Defense of Antifa.”
Which, IMO, means she maybe ought to have a bounty on her head. I’m ok with “Alive” as a requirement.
“This tutorial video explains the backstory,”
You know, I often don’t agree with him, but gotta love that man.
The whole point of memes
The whole point of memes is threefold: to mock your enemies, to cope with enemies, and to cope with other stupidity/silliness in life. (Those last two are partly because it’s better to laugh than to cry.) Trying to put some modernist deconstructionist spin on it shows she is likely very over-educated.
Pretentious academic twaddle.
Well, that, yes.
still won’t deny that he tweeted a QAnon dog whistle
Because he didn’t. He also probably doesn’t think he needs to defend himself from idiotic accusations from Twitter randos. (Blue check doesn’t mean you’re not a rando.)
just another purveyor of progressive bullshit
“Poppeycock”. “Purveyor of Progressive poppeycock” is just a bit more alliterative. 🙂
If you hear the whistle, you’re the dog.
