Hillary Clinton could barely stay upright during the last campaign in 2016, but according to The Wall Street Journal she will make another go of the Presidency in 2020. God help us.
According to this, former advisor to the Clintons, Mark Penn, says that Clinton has her sights set on 2020, as a “liberal firebrand“…or something like that:
Firebrand looking for the fire hydrant. Which is why we found this claim to be quite amusing:
“True to her name, Hillary Clinton will fight this out until the last dog dies.” — Mark Penn and Andrew Stein, The Wall Street Journal
Who is the “last dog,” exactly? Is Barack going to eat it? Or perhaps they’re referring to Mitt Romney’s dog he put on top of his car? Hello, PETA? You still going to support ol’ Hills?
“Get ready for Hillary Clinton 4.0. More than 30 years in the making, this new version of Mrs. Clinton, when she runs for president in 2020, will come full circle—back to the universal-health-care-promoting progressive firebrand of 1994.” — WSJ column

As much as we want this to die, this could be entertaining:
Will the southern accent return as well?

Hillary 6.0 is gonna be the shit!!

By then, maybe Alyssa Milano will donate both of her kidneys to her.
Penn and Stein say they expect Hillary 4.0 to “come out swinging,” taking rising Democrats down “like bowling pins.” We suppose she could take swinging tips from her dear hubby, but we doubt this is type of “swinging” they are referring to.
Will she refer to black people as super predators again??

This was circa “progressive firebrand” of 1994, wasn’t it?
Clinton, according to Penn and Stein, will have a strategy, and will “reinvent” herself to be a more amped-up, liberal version of herself. (Yawn.) She will run for president. After all, her loss was not her fault.
“Claims of a Russian conspiracy and the unfairness of the Electoral College shielded Mrs. Clinton from ever truly conceding she had lost. She was robbed, she told herself, yet again. But after two years of brooding—including at book length—Mrs. Clinton has come unbound. She will not allow this humiliating loss at the hands of an amateur to end the story of her career. You can expect her to run for president once again.” — Penn/Stein, WSJ
Yes, Hillary Clinton would like to be President. She said so herself just a few weeks ago. She just doesn’t want to run. She wants the participation trophy for 30 years in-the-making. True to her name, they say…Hillary Clinton like it’s some badge of honor, when in fact, her name is the only thing she is true to. Perhaps she’ll come up with some new and improved excuses? Maybe she’ll ditch Katy Perry? We shall see. For sure, she wants to claim the Oval Office and be Hillary Clinton, First of Her Name, First Woman President of The United States. It’s her right. It’s “her claim,” they say. Who the hell is she? Daenerys Freaking Targaryen?! Hillary the sea hag will come roaring in on her dragon, coughing and cackling her way into the White House. Hilly unbound! Oh, Breaker of Chains!
In 2020, Hillary Clinton will be 73 years old and, apparently, a “reinvented” version of herself, running on a platform of progressivism and “revenge,” as Penn and Stein claim. Despite their additional claims in this OpEd of a 75% approval rating of Democrats, Hillary Clinton has proven to be lackluster at 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0. Not sure what difference version 4.0 is going to make, and to us, all versions look alike.

Does this mean we will have to rebuild the “Vast Right-wing Conspiracy?”
As long as she is running for office, she can launder money through campaign donations. Gotta keep that bribe and payoff money disguised and coming in.
” taking rising Democrats down “like bowling pins.” ”
Please do. Is this an in kind contribution to the GOP for the next eight years?
Microsoft no longer provides service support for Windows 95. The same is true for the Hillary 94. It’s too obsolete to provide patches and updates for, and time to find a replacement and turn it off.
Wfjag made me laugh.
The prospect of Hilary 2020 is why I am still a registered Democrat, so I can vote for her in the primary. Of course it may be harder now that Debbie Wasserman Schultz isn’t there to put a thumb on the scale, but that anti-Semitic domestic abuser Ellison is even more morally flexible so Hilary may still be the gift that keeps on giving.
While we are on the subject, do you think the Dems might try to repeal the 22nd amendment so Obama can have a third term?
