Last night, 60 Minutes aired the interview by Bill Whitaker of selected Democrat candidate for President of the United States, Kamala Harris. I wrote about the preview selection CBS put out yesterday. You can read it here. Harris does think she is very clever. Sadly. That preview clip was the best cut, because the rest of it was worse than I imagined.
Before I begin, I commented on a post that Kamala made today because it was dumb, even for her.

Then, I saw the 60 Minutes interview. Dear Sweet Baby Jesus, it was worse than I could have possibly imagined. Let’s see what you think:
Whitaker begins the introduction by saying that Kamala Harris has faced unrelenting attacks from Donald Trump. Mr. Whitaker remains unaware that that’s called “politics”. Donald Trump has been facing unrelenting lawfare. Speaking of a lack of awareness, at 6:00 into the interview Kamala said:
Kamala: “No one should be able to take for granted that they can just declare themselves a candidate and automatically receive support. You have to earn it.”

My forehead gets sore from smacking it when she speaks. Especially, when Miss Harris talks about economics. Before you read this pablum, be aware that Kamala double majored in political science and economics. From Yahoo News:
The economy tops voters’ concerns as Election Day nears, but Harris defended the Biden administration’s record, pointing to low unemployment numbers. She also touted her campaign proposals to institute a federal ban on price gouging on food and groceries, expand the child tax credit and give tax breaks to first-time home buyers and people starting small businesses.
Whitaker asked how she intends to pay for her plans and get them through Congress.
“One of the things is I’m going to make sure that the richest among us who can afford it pay their fair share in taxes,” Harris said. “It is not right that teachers and nurses and firefighters are paying a higher tax rate than billionaires and the biggest corporations.”
Ow, dayum. That hurt. The Biden-Harris White House uses this fake stat because they want to get their greedy claws on your unrealized Capital Gains. According to Verify This:
Billionaires do not pay an average of 8.2% in federal taxes. The 400 wealthiest American taxpayers actually pay an average federal income tax rate of around 23%.
In comparison, the average income tax rate for all taxpayers in 2020 was 13.6%.
So where does the 8.2% number come from?
When Biden mentions the billionaire tax rate, he’s referring to a White House estimate of taxes paid by the top 400 wealthiest American families that includes the increase in value of unsold stocks, or “unrealized” gains, in a person’s total income.
“Gains that are ‘on paper’ only are called ‘unrealized gains.’ For example, if you bought a share for $10 and it’s now worth $12, you have an unrealized gain of $2. You won’t pay any taxes until you sell the share,” Vanguard says on its website.
She wants to break the rich and the middle class.
In this post, caught by Steve Cortes, poor Whitaker goes round and round, valiantly trying to get a straight answer from Kamala on the Southern Border.
Wow. 60 Minutes mildly pressed Kamala Harris on why she opened the southern border and then waited 3.5 years to reverse course, and she completely melted down in response. Kamala is not ready for primetime:

Poor Whitaker, I bet he had a headache. Kamala may be panicking inside, but she still lacks any self-awareness.
Finally, Kamala cannot let Israel have one day to grieve and remember October 7, 2023 without bringing the Palestinians in.
Bill Whitaker: The events of the past few weeks have pushed us to the brink, if—if not into an all-out regional war in the Middle East. What can the U.S. do at this point to stop this from spinning out of control?
Vice President Kamala Harris: Well, let’s start with October 7. 1,200 people were massacred, 250 hostages were taken, including Americans, women were brutally raped, and as I said then, I maintain Israel has a right to defend itself. We would. And how it does so matters. Far too many innocent Palestinians have been killed. This war has to end.
We are all just going to pretend like the Palestinians didn’t start this and that we (Joe and Kamala) didn’t fund it.
Kamala is, at best, ready to be on the Zoning Board in a medium-sized California town. President of the United States. Ow. My head.

AOC has a similar resume.. do any of these women actually earn their degrees, or do they just get them on their knees?? They damn sure are not making the case that women are equal to men.
