In case you’re thinking that lowering the voting age to 16 is a good idea, then look at the March for Our Lives. The kids marching in this might be savvy on social media, but they know little about real life. Or laws, or the Constitution. But they sure know how to get likes on Instagram and Twitter, so that gives them cred, right?

There is so much derp here I don’t know where to start. What’s sad is that it includes not only kids, but adults, too.

For example, Parkland student Samantha Fuentes vomited at the start of her speech, while the crowd cheered. Why? Because she tossed her cookies? Or because of the rock concert atmosphere?

Shouldn’t they be embarrassed for her?  A little empathy, maybe? But no, they just shouted “Never again!”

Not sure if they’re referring to shootings or vomiting on stage — I’ll assume it’s the former.

Anyway, Fuentes recovered and laughed about it. But I wouldn’t have wanted to be the act that followed her on that stage.

And then there were the tweets.

Like the girl who thought that her uterus is more regulated than guns. Seriously. I’ve had my uterus for decades now — even loaded twice with two babies. But I’ve never had to register it.

Or “Bitterchick,” who thinks school dress codes are more restrictive than gun laws. And she’s supposedly a mom, a law graduate, and a member of #LawyersResist. I sincerely hope she doesn’t practice.

And then there’s the fawning adoration for Parkland student activist Emma Gonzalez, who’s all about being famous.  Here she’s also the subject of a creepy graphic.

“Read about in textbooks?” Really? Why should we? What has she accomplished, other than being used by progressives and a compliant media?

Yet we’re going to read about her in textbooks — because her signature line, “We call BS,” is so. . . inspirational?

Then there’s the mom who was so proud of her son’s incredibly ignorant poster.

No, the Second Amendment doesn’t ban AR-15 rifles. Maybe this mom should read a summary of District of Columbia v. Heller.

Yes, a gun does provide protection. Otherwise millions of us who legally own them for defense wouldn’t spend the money on them. Or the time spent learning how to use them properly.

And “thoughts and prayers” refer to comfort for the families of victims — from shootings, car accidents, hurricanes — you get the drift. This is nothing more than another slam at religious people. Yeah, so helpful to the debate.

There’s this gem of a poster from some kid who calls himself an “amateur model.”

I know “Hamilton” tickets are expensive and hard to get, but I don’t think you have to complete a background check to buy them, just use an approved credit card.

Finally, listen to Parkland student Alex Wind, who’s afraid that the NRA wants to arm Mickey Mouse at Disney World. Yes, really.

We’ve all heard the axiom, “Hard cases make bad law.” You know what else makes for bad law? Feelings, emotions, and downright ignorance. The March for Our Lives is a perfect example of that.
