Chelsea Handler apparently thinks Trump is the king of evil and he causes wildfires?

Ms. Handler went full stupid and tweeted that it is like Trump started the three latest California wildfires? Yes she said that after evacuating her Bel Aire home.

I do not know how she became a well known comedian but bless her heart, she apparently is funny to some. And I feel for the people who ran for their lives from a big hella scary fire. But as Emily Zanotti said here she went full stupid.

Now, we obviously feel for Chelsea. Evacuating your home and leaving your belongings behind under threat of major devastation isn’t easy for anyone. It’s downright terrifying. Buuuuut as troublesome as President Donald Trump may be to someone who vehemently disagrees with everything he does, Trump probably didn’t hunker down in a national forest and set an entire swath of land ablaze.

Shaking my head. Trump is someone I cannot stand but this kind of elemental stupidity almost makes him appealing. No Trump did not cause the wildfires. He did not cause the rain, the snow outside my window or a tornado. Obama and Bush and the Clintons also did not cause natural disasters.

Wildfires in California canyons happen every year. This is urban, close to home and the Getty and Skirball museums. The 405 between the San Fernando Valley and LA is a bit busy as I am sure Ms. Handler knows, right? They are acts of nature not some bizarre punishment. Or caused by random passing politicians of any party.

That is scarier than LA rush hour traffic. My heart breaks for the people living there and the ones who lost everything in a matter of minutes.

Chelsea, wildfires suck. All natural disasters do. We all know that. But making them a political tweet is somewhere beyond stupid.
