PLEASE SEE UPDATES BELOW THE FOLD.

Around 11:15 am Pacific time, reports of an active shooting situation broke from San Bernardino, CA.

The situation is fluid, but here is what we know as of right now (no confirmation except via media):
– 20 people are reported shot, 12 are reported dead
– one to three active shooters reported
– shooters were dressed in “black masks”
– The area has a service center for disabled people, the Inland Regional Service Center.


– Planned Parenthood in San Bernardino has been contacted by the media and confirmed that they are NOT involved.

The media is speculating that multiple shooters mean that this was a planned attack.

Victory Girls will continue to monitor and update the situation as details emerge.

UPDATE 12:15 PM PT:
Well, that didn’t take long.


That is a new record low, with shooters still active.

KTLA is reporting that SWAT teams are busy evacuating all the buildings in the area.

UPDATE 12:20 PM PT:
San Bernardino police have confirmed that there are multiple shooters being sought.


There are reports that a bomb was also found on site. The bomb squad is responding and the ATF is on its way.

UPDATE 12:27 PM PT:
One gunman confirmed to have entered the Inland Regional Center.

Inland Regional Center’s Facebook page says it employs nearly 670 staff at its facilities in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, providing services to more than 30,200 people.

It aims to “work on a personal, one-on-one basis with people with developmental disabilities to make their lives better as they define it.”

Employees at the center are contacting family members and reporting multiple casualties.

Suspect/suspects are reported to be wearing “tactical gear” and heavily armed.


What happens if the rhetoric that the Democrat candidates are spewing don’t end up matching the facts?

Car being sought.


There is a media no-fly zone in effect as well.

A suspicious device has been detonated.

UPDATE 1:00 PM PT:
Police confirm that there was more than one shooter.


And multiple fatalities.


Witnesses keep repeating that there were three shooters.

The hunt is on for the reported getaway vehicle.

Reports say the nearby Watermon Discount Mall is being evacuated out of an abundance of caution.

Barack Obama, never one to let the lack of facts, or notification of next of kin, get in his way, jumped on the Gun Control Bandwagon. Again:

UPDATE 2:00 PM PT:

Police briefing:

  • Police estimate 14 people killed, 14 people injured
  • Wounded taken to area hospitals
  • 3 shooters went into building and opened fire; all three were equipped with long guns
  • Law enforcement still clearing the building
  • The have no ID’s and no motive for the shooting
  • Buildings in the general area are locked down
  • “We’re doing everything we can to make the public safe.”
  • The FBI and the ATF are on scene.
  • It is unclear if the shooting is terrorism-related.
  • Most victims were centrally located in one area of the building
  • “At minimum, we have a domestic terror situation.”

Authorities say they will update “every hour on the hour.”

The San Bernardino County Sheriff has released a phone number for the public to use if they have any information regarding this shooting:

Witness description of one of the gunmen, as related to her husband over the phone: “Bigger built, wearing black with a black mask, with a big gun and wearing tactical stuff.”

UPDATE 3:00 PM PT:

The Los Angeles Times reports one witness, a nurse at the facility, initially believed the shooting was a standard, active-shooter drill:

UPDATE: 3:20 PM PT:

Police are in a shoot-out with a dark SUV. Note: It’s NOT CONFIRMED it’s related to the earlier shooting in San Bernardino. News helicopters overheard. Fox is reporting an “officer is down.” One suspect reportedly ran from the vehicle, at least one is reportedly still inside the SUV. Another “suspect down.”

Second police briefing:

  • Number of injured now stands at seventeen.
  • Officer reported to be “ok.”
  • Scene of SUV is “still active,” just a few miles from the original scene.
  • One suspect detained. “Bodies” inside the car.

Authorities now have the dark SUV penned in. The entire vehicle is riddled with bullet holes:

UPDATE 4:00 PM PT:

Federal officials say a man was in the meeting, left, and came back with the other gunmen:

One gunman is reportedly barricaded inside a home. Another reportedly pulled dead from the SUV.

Police confirm these are the suspects involved in the earlier shooting.

UPDATE 4:40 PM PT:

The Los Angeles Times is reporting authorities now have two suspects in custody.

    This one sounds like a disgruntled worker at first blush. But odd to have helpers in that case. Otherwise, no idea on why that place would be targeted.

    The FB profile photo you posted is not the same person. The only think he shared in common with the killer is his last name and the fact that he lived in CA.

    Very unfortunate that everyone was in such a mad rush to publish a story that they didn’t bother to vet their sources. And now this guy’s image, along with his children, is circulating around the internet, identifying him as a terrorist.

    And it is truly a shame that media ran with this guys images when it wouldn’t have taken anyone with half a brain to look at this guys FB page and see that he was not the same person.
