Cast your memory back to the State of the Union last month. Good. After the SOTU while Biden was getting his fix of glad-handing, he was caught on a “hot mic” saying that he was going to have a “Come to Jesus meeting” with Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel? In case you don’t remember, here’s a refresher:
BIDEN: "I told him, Bibi — don't repeat this — you and I are going to have a come to Jesus meeting."

Is today that day?
According to the Stamford Advocate, the phone call has already taken place:
President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone Thursday, days after Israeli airstrikes killed seven food aid workers in Gaza and added a new layer of complication in the leaders’ increasingly strained relationship. That’s according to a person familiar with the leaders’ conversation who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to comment publicly.
A scalding hot subject during today’s “Come to Jesus” meeting would have been the World Central Kitchen convoy bombing. Our Deanna has covered the fallout from that “War is Hell” reminder and you can read it for yourself here. Joe Biden better not get all preachy with Prime Minister Netanyahu over the aid workers killed. Biden can’t remember whether he’s had his ice cream yet today, but some aid should slip him a note over how well our over-the-horizon intelligence worked after the disastrous Afghanistan surrender when we accidently droned two adults and seven children delivering water:
A US airstrike in Kabul against a supposed Islamic State bomber actually killed an innocent man who worked for a US aid group and his family, according to newly published testimony and footage — raising the specter that the Pentagon lied to the public about the strike.
The reported case of mistaken identity also further tars President Biden for his chaotic pullout of US troops from Afghanistan, which left behind hundreds of US citizens and thousands of at-risk Afghans.
Zemari Ahmadi and nine members of his family, including seven children, were killed in the airstrike on Aug. 29, one day before the final US evacuation flights from Kabul, his brother Romal Ahmadi told the New York Times.
Ahmadi, who was the apparent target of the strike, worked for 14 years as a technical engineer in Afghanistan for the Pasadena, Calif.-based charity group Nutrition and Education International, which feeds hungry Afghans.
Marine General McKenzie, since retired, came out to say, “Oops, our bad.”:
Guess the “Over the horizon” capabilities weren’t what Biden bragged. Remember the “RIGHTEOUS” strike?
Remember the time Joe Biden ordered a drone strike that killed seven children and then bragged about his “over the horizon capabilities”?
And the media said nothing. pic.twitter.com/Kfd2QgNPfS— David Gray (@DGrayTexas45) December 28, 2023
Didn’t that just sum up the Biden Foreign Policy right there? Remember that no one in the Administration was ever held accountable for this failure of “over-the-horizon”.
Weasel Secretary of State Antony Blinken came out in Brussels in a state of high dungeon and righteous indignation about Benjamin Netanyahu. Great, coward. The White House has just released the read out from the phone call:
President Biden spoke by telephone with Prime Minister Netanyahu. The two leaders discussed the situation in Gaza. President Biden emphasized that the strikes on humanitarian workers and the overall humanitarian situation are unacceptable. He made clear the need for Israel to announce and implement a series of specific, concrete, and measurable steps to address civilian harm, humanitarian suffering, and the safety of aid workers. He made clear that U.S. policy with respect to Gaza will be determined by our assessment of Israel’s immediate action on these steps. He underscored that an immediate ceasefire is essential to stabilize and improve the humanitarian situation and protect innocent civilians, and he urged the Prime Minister to empower his negotiators to conclude a deal without delay to bring the hostages home. The two leaders also discussed public Iranian threats against Israel and the Israeli people. President Biden made clear that the United States strongly supports Israel in the face of those threats.
This sentence alone should make your blood boil: “President Biden emphasized that the strikes on humanitarian workers and the overall humanitarian situation are unacceptable.” What a bleeding hypocrite Joe Biden is and always has been. Someone needs to have a “Come to Jesus” meeting with Joe.

I’d be ok when Bibi having a Mount Cavalry-style “come to Jesus” moment with Brandon.
Then get on with a proper siege of Gaza.

We recognize that President Biden’s mind, never the sharpest around, is slowly losing touch with reality, but the idea that he’d talk about a “come to Jesus” meeting with a Jewish leader is particularly weird.
Actually, our purportedly devout Catholic president needs to have a real “come to Jesus” meeting with his own church. He’s as apostate as any Catholic I know.
