The airline has rolled out a new policy offering passengers free flight changes to avoid the sheer trauma of landing at the newly renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport.
You can now reroute to Fort Lauderdale or Miami at no extra charge if the airport name hurts your feelings. Safe Space Skies are now boarding.

Reservation agents are instructed to use their “empowerment” to help triggered customers. The airline even provides a suggestion script.
“If a customer does not want to fly to the airport, use your empowerment to offer acceptable alternatives such as Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) or Miami International Airport (MIA),” the memo to reservation agents reads.
The memo even suggests a response to customers who object to landing at the renamed airport.
“I understand that you’d rather not fly to this airport anymore. We can look at nearby airports like Fort Lauderdale or Miami instead. Is that an acceptable alternative?” the guidance says.
The agents are directed to process the change as an even exchange, effectively making the flight change free of charge for travelers. – Fox News
This is not satire. This is an actual corporate policy in 2026. So-called grown men and women are being offered emotional support reroutes because the letters D, J, and T on a terminal are simply too much to bear.
Forget about bad weather, mechanical issues, or surly gate agents. The real flight risk these days is apparently a president’s name on an airport sign. What is wrong with us?
The United States already has airports honoring all kinds of presidents.
But the second Palm Beach International becomes President Donald J. Trump International? Total meltdown. People are flooding the airport’s contact page with unhinged rants, calling it everything from racist to narcissistic. Of course.
One passenger interviewed about the name change stared into the camera and delivered her devastating analysis in one word: “Dictatorship.”
Ma’am you’re standing in an airport, free to fly anywhere in the world you want, on a whim, and you think a new sign is dictatorship?
Sweetheart, if this is what tyranny looks like, I’d love to see what you call real oppression. Probably having to wait in line at Starbucks.
The hypocrisy is thicker than airport security lines during the holidays. As if Trump is the first imperfect or controversial president to get honored. Give me a break. Flying passengers have no problem landing at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport after he gets serviced by an intern in the Oval Office.
Many customers who responded to the form were furious about the name change and the airport’s disclaimer, with several vowing to boycott the airport, according to NOTUS, which obtained the messages through a public records request.
“It’s truly entertaining that you had to add a disclaimer to this form explaining the renaming of your airport after our racist, xenophobic, misogynistic 47th president,” one person wrote.
Another said, “Hopefully you’ll have plenty of airbags to catch the barfs from people as they drive up.”

Most Americans, left and right, just want to get to where they’re going without a side of corporate therapy. They’ll land at Trump International, grab their bags, and head on with their lives. No drama. No tears.
The deranged crowd will keep virtue-signaling their reroutes while sitting in Miami traffic. Enjoy that moral high ground; it comes with a longer Uber bill.
So go ahead, United. Keep pampering the chronically offended with safe space skies and extra therapy miles.
The rest of us will be flying into Donald J. Trump International Airport like normal, sane Americans. We are too busy winning.
