“Is that an rpg in your pocket, or are you happy to see me?”
Sadly, that isn’t a line from a Bill Murray movie, but what this administration expects our troops to know before engaging with the enemy.
I wish I was making this up.
According to the Washington Times, troops will now be required to verify that an enemy combatant is armed before entering dwellings in order to remain in accordance with the Bilateral Security Agreement reached by President Hamid Karzai and that traitorous bastard, John Kerry, in Afghanistan- you know, that place where Herr Barry ended the war, where our sons and daughters are risking and losing life and limb, where this administration has decided to implement a fiscal funnel. Yeah, there.
As we approach the holidays with Thanksgiving tomorrow, Christmas in four weeks, Hannukah this evening, and Festivus in twenty-six days, our troops are gifted with the knowledge that their own country’s leaders don’t trust them enough to do that which they were trained to do, that their enemies’ well-being and safety is placed on a higher rung of the priority ladder than their own.
While the Republic is crumbling and lamenting the disorganization, unconstitutionality and inadequacy of Obama(doesn’t)Care, reeling from the election of individuals who would see Her fail and become fundamentally transformed into a Stepford socialist regime, this act of treachery against those who are willing to sacrifice all is the most egregious act of all.
“That these dead shall not have died in vain.” What are the odds of that being proven true?
This reminds me of a line from “Hunt for Red October” where the F14 Tomcat crash landed on the carrier deck. The skipper said “this s**t will get out of hand and we’ll all be lucky to get out alive”.
Merle
Lucky would be an understatement at this point. I believe he won’t be satisfied with passing the numbers of those KIA during 43’s term, rather he’s out to inflict as much pain and suffering as possible on our armed forces. It isn’t a stretch to say one of his motives is to make military service as unattractive as possible to the next generation in an effort to foment and replicate the disdain with which he looks upon the fighting (wo)man.
Sounds just like Vietnam again. When are we going to learn? These folks shoot first and ask questions later. It’s almost like its the same thing as the old west( shoot first ask question later.).
