Yesterday, President Donald Trump was loudly booed at the Detroit Lions at the Washington Commanders as he swore in new enlisted military personnel. These kids taking the Oath of Enlistment deserved respect from the football attendees. But, the ignorant and ill-mannered Commanders’ fans can’t get hold of themselves to be respectful.

We can all understand why the Commanders’ fans are salty. They had a great name for their football team. The Redskins. Hail to the Redskins! Liberals love erasing the proud histories of our minority communities.

Who the heck are The Commanders? The name is so random.

The “Commanders” fans are getting backlash for booing during the Salute to Service ceremonial Swearing In. Mediaite has the details:

President Donald Trump was hit by a booming chorus of boos from fans at the Washington Commanders game on Sunday when he took the microphone and conducted a swearing in ceremony for members of the U.S. military.

The jeering blitz was caught by Fox News, which broadcast part of Trump’s address.

He was reading the U.S. Armed Forces Oath of Enlistment, but that did not stop fans at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland from voicing — or in this case, shouting — their displeasure.

The oath reads as follows:

“I, (state name of enlistee), do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. (So help me God).”

Trump put a little extra oomph into the “So help me God!” as the loud razzing continued. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth was flanking Trump to his right as he read the oath.

He later told the Fox broadcast team it was an honor to swear in such a “tremendous group of young people.”

The cold reception probably should not come as much of a surprise, considering how the surrounding areas voted. Former Vice President Kamala Harris (D) won more than 90% of votes in Washington, D.C., and she also received 62% of votes in Maryland. Harris also scored a victory in Virginia, although that margin was much smaller.

Conservative influencer Benny Johnson shared a clip of the fans booing Trump on X and said it “doesn’t get much more disrespectful than this.”

Those who have watched their child be sworn in to the United States Military have every right to be super angry at the disrespect.

Plus, there were Gold Star Families there. They didn’t deserve the boos. There should have been silent respect or grateful cheers. The selfish boos of the crowd made the whole Commanders organization look pitiful. The comments under the video reflect the lack of respect for military families. Hate on the President all you wish, but don’t you dare disrespect the families of our fallen heroes. Cretins.

Maybe the jackwagons could have taken into account that families of the enlistees might have wanted to listen to the President swear in their baby. Their baby who has just written a note to each American for the value of the enlistee’s life. But, NO. The ignorant Commanders fans were only thinking of themselves.

On the other hand, there was this moment:
