The Shade Room Exposes Kamala Harris

Kamala Harris is neither a neophyte nor an ingenue. She also comes across as surprisingly inauthentic for someone so long in the tooth. She has a condescending attitude towards Black Men. That made it very odd to watch her interview with Justin Carter on The Shade Room. Maybe Kamala should have stayed the Silent Puppet.

When I heard the first clip of Harris, I had never heard of The Shade Room and had to look it up:

The Shade Room is the culture’s definitive source for trending celeb news, exclusive interviews, videos, and more.

The culture they are speaking of is Black Culture. Young Black Culture. It is a multi-platform media group. Kamala’s host was an Emmy Award winner Justin Carter. She did the interview to help her sell her agenda specifically for Black Men. From the New York Times:

The plan, called the “Opportunity Agenda for Black Men,” expands upon Ms. Harris’s “opportunity economy” pitch, building upon efforts to address the unique barriers that the demographic faces in starting businesses and building wealth.

Ms. Harris’s plan calls for providing one million loans that would forgive up to $20,000 for Black entrepreneurs and people of other races to start a business, in an effort to close the capital gap that Black people often face.

The plan calls for expanding access to affordable banking options that will allow Black men and others to tap into more capital that they often cannot access because of high fees and other barriers. The plan also promises to devise a regulatory framework for protecting cryptocurrency assets, which more than 20 percent of Black Americans own or have owned.

Ms. Harris’s proposals also seek to create more mentorship and apprenticeship opportunities, and call for new investments to help more Black men become teachers. And the plan would begin a health initiative focused on the diseases that disproportionately affect Black people — such as sickle cell, diabetes and prostate cancer — by expanding preventive screening programs.

Under the plan, Ms. Harris also pledges to legalize marijuana nationally and to ensure that Black men, who were once disproportionately jailed for using and distributing marijuana, can benefit from its business potential.

Wait. What was that last bit? Instead of jailing Black Men for Weed, Kamala now wants to incentivize them to profit from it. Can you say condescending? She really thinks Black Men are sheep. More from The Times:

Her softening support among Black men has so alarmed Democrats that former President Barack Obama issued an urgent call last week for the voting bloc to drop “excuses” and rethink their reluctance to support the vice president. (Ms. Harris dodged when asked on The Shade Room whether she agreed with Mr. Obama’s comments, saying that she was “very proud” to have his support.)

Obama got smacked for being condescending and lecturing Black Men. Kamala doesn’t want to get snapped up in that trap. Oops, she did it again. And, Mr. Carter did address him as President Barack Obama in the beginning of the interview.

Here she explains how she allowed Black Men into her office at The White House. She then goes on to lie, especially about Trump and Project 2025.

In case you are a masochist, here is the full interview:

Don’t you just hate when public servants talk about doing the work? From The Source:

Addressing polling data showing her receiving 80% of Black male voters compared to Biden’s 87% in 2020, Harris pushed back, stating, “That’s not my experience, and election day has not arrived yet. The most important point is that I’m not assuming I have Black men’s votes in my back pocket. Black men expect you to earn their vote, just like anyone else.”

She emphasized the importance of her ongoing work, listening to the community, and making her case to voters. “I’m running for president of the United States, and it’s my responsibility to earn their support. That’s why I’m talking with folks about the work I’ve done throughout my career.”

She’s getting worse, not better.
