The Media Elite Is Still Mad About Donald Trump

Another media elite takes issue with Donald Trump, this time linking it to Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In a recent article, New York Magazine’s senior editor, Margaret Hartmann, expresses dismay over President-elect Donald Trump’s second inauguration falling on January 20, 2025, which coincides with Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Some people nitpick everything Donald Trump says or does.

“When Will Trump Take Office? On MLK Day, Unfortunately,” The Intelligencer’s senior editor Margaret Hartmann lamented in a new piece.

Hartmann noted the “depressing” news that President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in to his second, non-consecutive term in office on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The presidential inauguration sometimes falls on the federal holiday honoring Martin Luther King Jr., which takes place on the third Monday of January each year, close to King’s birthday on January 15. – Fox News

In Hartmann’s original article, little Miss Margaret at least acknowledges that Donald Trump has no control over the date of his swearing-in and mentions the 20th Amendment of the United States Constitution, which established January 20 as Inauguration Day.

But that didn’t stop her from crying in her soup over the upcoming inauguration of Donald Trump.

Here is more from Mararet’s mournful Intelligencer outburst…

Yes, we’ll be swearing in the guy who spent the first MLK Day of his presidency golfing, and who recently bragged that his pre-insurrection speech on January 6, 2021, drew a bigger crowd than King’s “I Have a Dream” speech (which isn’t true).

I’m entirely over these pompous twerps desperately clinging to relevance. Sure, Margaret writes for a big-name publication, but that’s precisely why people like her seem so out of touch with America. Maybe I’m just irritated that she has a cushy job paying her a fortune for writing mindless drivel and pointless garbage.

Dear Margaret:

Instead of seizing the opportunity to honor Dr. King’s legacy and reflect on the nation’s progress, Margaret chose to take a weak shot at dragging Donald Trump’s name through the mud. She even criticized him for playing golf on previous MLK Days. Oh no, what a catastrophe!

Dr. King’s legacy is deeply rooted in the principles of democracy, equality, and justice. An inauguration on MLK Day can be seen as an opportunity to honor these shared values and highlight the nation’s progress and the remaining work.

The real message from Little Miss Margaret is that she’s mad that a black woman won’t be sworn in on January 20, 2025. Oh, boo-hoo, Margaret. She won’t get that thrill-up-the-leg sensation that Chris Matthews experienced in 2008.

You know, those liberal types are all about the division of the people. They only created DEI to make them feel like they were progressing, but it is really about dividing and exclusion. There’s always something vile with them.

Meanwhile…

Joe Biden signed 50 bills into law on Monday and confirmed his 235th federal judge this week before he went on vacation for the rest of the year. What does Margaret have to say about that? Nothing. Silence.

All of Margaret’s articles have the name Trump in the title, telling you what? She still seems to be on the imagination train that dogging Trump is popular.

Honestly, I can’t blame Margaret for clinging to the Trump name. People love Trump. Margaret must pull in that pouty lip and start recovering from her hysteria before it’s too late. There are only 22 more days until Inauguration Day, little missy. You can do it!

Out here in the Mountain Time Zone golf is not so big this time of the year. President’s Day and MLK Day are a couple of the biggest downhill skiing days of the year. Wonder how Margaret Hartmann feels about that?

  • NTSOG says:

Given that the socialist Left also known as Democrats have abandoned much of what MLK strived to achieve between races Madame Hartmann should take a long walk off a short pier.

The media elite is also mad that they are losing their power to people with Twitter accounts and can get fact checked in real time.

    And there’s more to come.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics has, since the election, released two revisions of jobs created for 2022 and 2023. So far the revisions have eliminated about 1.5 Million jobs from those supposedly created under Joe and Kamala. There are still several quarters under review for revisions. You can expect revisions eliminating well over another 500K jobs reported as created, but which never existed.

Will the legacy media report this as highly inflated numbers by BLS under Biden/Harris or attempt to pin the blame on Trump? (OK. That’s a rhetorical question).

Suggestion for DOGE – Just post the jobs, etc., numbers and let private persons analyze them, and eliminate the BLS. That will send a quick message: If we can’t trust your reports, we don’t need you working for the Government.
