First of all, this war is nothing but an act of aggression justified by false claims. There is absolutely no rational reason we invaded Iraq. Saddam Hussein was a threat to absolutely no one other than the Iraqi people themselves, which where better off with him in power than with our occupation. At least they had stability and structure. Now all they have is chaos and no actual organized rule. Iraq has become a shooting range for the Al Queda and us with even more death and poverty than ever before, completely disregarding any citizens who are not able to leave the country. Can you explain to me how our “brave” soldiers are defending freedom in any way shape or form whatsoever? This war is nothing but a huge stain on Americas track record. But lets say you could care less about human life and what the rest of the world thinks of us now. Lets believe all of Bush’s bullshit about why we need to be there. What have we accomplished with the TRILLIONS of dollars spent on this war besides fucking up thousands of lives? Well, maybe you should take a look at the US economy. It is currently in the worst state since the 1920s. This is almost entirely due to the bill for this war. Our country is on the brink of collapsing, weather you notice or not, and thick headed nationalistic pride will push it off the edge by keeping us in Iraq. So if being a pussy and bitching about this war will put us any closer to coming out of it, I’ll bitch till I can bitch no more. If you disagree, well grab your gun and go fight.
