After what we have seen at Columbia University, in Pennsylvania, in Washington DC, and now in Colorado, it should be obvious that the radical Islamic mission of “globalizing the intifada” is coming to pass.

Impressionable idiotic college students, combined with imported true believers and mentally deranged crusaders who are looking to latch on to the next Thing™, have created an environment where violence has become the next logical step. If you are screaming that Israel is committing genocide, and are harassing Jewish students or people marching to remember the hostages by proclaiming “Free Palestine,” then the permission structure has been constructed to allow for actual violence against anyone who disagrees with you.

The problem is, the media and the Democrats (but I repeat myself), are now becoming the old Norm Macdonald joke. Rest in peace; the man was a prophet.

Because they cannot accept that the level of hatred and violence directed at Jews within America is unique and becoming widespread in the manner of an intifada, they are trying to “both sides” the issue by rolling in Islamophobia into their discussions about anti-Semitism. Just look at what ABC News is now trying.

Has anyone seen a rise in Islamophobic hate crimes across the nation at the scale of death and destruction that we have seen against Jews in this new intifada? If there had been, wouldn’t have been ALL OVER THE NEWS as proof that the violence is directed at “both sides”? The ABC News article reports CAIR’s assertions, and then cites the two cases that were well covered – over 18 months ago.

Islamophobic attack have also been on the rise, according to a report issued in March by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization. CAIR reported that it received more than 8,650 complaints in 2024, the highest number the group has ever gotten.

Among the high-profile anti-Muslim incidents reported over the last two years was the fatal Oct. 14, 2023, stabbing of 6-year-old Palestinian American boy, Wadea Al-Fayoume, by his Illinois landlord, 73-year-old Joseph Czuba, who prosecutors said killed the child and attacked his mother in response to the Israel-Hamas war. Czuba was convicted of murder and hate crime charges in February and was sentenced in May to 53 years in prison.

On Nov. 25, 2023, three college students of Palestinian descent were shot, including one who was paralyzed, in Burlington, Vermont, when they were allegedly targeted by 48-year-old Jason J. Eaton, a former Boy Scout leader, as the students, who were visiting the city during the Thanksgiving holiday, were walking in his neighborhood speaking a mix of Arabic and English, authorities said. Two of the students were wearing keffiyehs, traditional Palestinian scarves. Eaton has pleaded not guilty to three counts of attempted murder and is awaiting a trial.

As horrible as these cases are, they are from 2023. Pennsylvania Governor Shapiro was the target of arson less than two months ago, in April. The two Israeli embassy employees in Washington DC, who were gunned down in cold blood, were murdered two weeks ago. The Molotov cocktail attack that lit a peaceful group on fire in Colorado happened three days ago. The violence that is happening now is against Jews. If there was a recent attack directed at Muslims, trust me, ABC would not have missed it in their article.

But in order to deny that there is a targeted intifada happening, the media and Democrats must couch their language into a generic “violence is bad, but it’s happening to both sides” message. This is, of course, so they can blame… drumroll please… President Trump.

You see, if the media can blame Trump, then they and the Democrats don’t have to look into their own party to see the ugly roots that have been planted over the years, and the fruits of those roots sprouting up in the form of people like Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar and AOC, and have to confront the most radical fringes of their own party. As John Kass pointed out, Democrats are now “paralyzed” by what they have allowed to grow.

After all those violent angry anti-Semitic protests by the Democrat hard left, and the screaming on college campuses led mostly by shrieking young women shouting “from the river to the sea,” all those Democrats in Congress afraid of their party’s hard leftist base and paralyzed with fear, America has entered a new phase of leftist hate.

They’re burning Jews now.

They’re burning Jews in America.

Their calls to globalize the intifada have been realized.

Our people are being burned.

And yet, the media wants you to feel sorry for the family of Mohamed Soliman, who has been charged with attempted first degree murder and federal hate crimes for Sunday’s intifada terror attack. The family is now in the custody of ICE, facing deportation (as Nina reported yesterday). How did they not know that dear old Dad held these violent views, and that he valued “jihad” more than his own family?

Pay no attention to that, USA Today says. Won’t someone think of the poor daughter?

She moved to the United States with a dream of studying medicine to transform lives. Then her father was charged with attempting to take them in connection with a fiery assault on pro-Jewish protesters in Boulder, Colorado.

Now Habiba Soliman, daughter of Boulder attack suspect Mohamed Sabry Soliman, faces deportation along with the rest of her family.

The family, originally from Egypt, moved to the U.S. from Kuwait. Habiba Soliman recently graduated from high school, but her aspirations were upended when her 45-year-old father was charged with a federal hate crime and 16 counts of attempted murder related to the attack that left a dozen people burned, including an 88-year-old Holocaust survivor. Two remain hospitalized.

Prior to the attack, Habiba Soliman had written about her hope of accomplishing great things in the U.S.

“Coming to the USA has fundamentally changed me,” she wrote in an application for a Colorado Springs Gazette “Best and Brightest” scholarship. “I learned to adapt to new things even if it was hard. I learned to work under pressure and improve rapidly in a very short amount of time. Most importantly, I came to appreciate that family is the unchanging support.”

She won the scholarship and was profiled in the Colorado newspaper where she shared her dream of a “future medical career” in the U.S.

Instead, the White House said on X on Tuesday that Mohamed Soliman’s wife and five children “could be deported by tonight.” FBI and police officials said Monday the family has cooperated with investigators.

It is possible to feel sorry for Habiba Soliman because of the choices that her father made, including bringing his entire family to the United States on visas and then overstaying them illegally. But where is the sympathy for the victims of Mohamed Soliman? USA Today did not interview Habiba – they are relying on older media to do this write-up – so we have no idea what she thinks or feels about her father, or his crimes. We only know that USA Today wants us to feel sorry for her – and they are getting ratioed for it.

This is the Norm Macdonald joke brought to hideous life – Jews were firebombed, but look at the consequences for this Muslim girl who just wanted to study medicine!

Until everyone – media and Democrats included – can call out the intifada for what it is, and stop making excuses or equivalencies for it, it will just keep happening. Right now, the left is failing the moral test it has been presented with. That means the rest of us, who can see the violence clearly for what it is, need to be prepared for the intifada to continue, and to be prepared for what may come next.
