Lake Superior University published a list of words it would like to see go the way of 2015, so I thought it might be fun to put my own personal, conservative spin on such a list. So let’s give it a go!

• Micro-aggression: Used to describe any transgression of speech against one who may, or may not depending on your perspective, be the focus or receiver of speech that may, or may not, be considered derogatory. As in “The white men on campus are always displaying micro-aggression against underprivileged minority women on campus.”

• Manspreading: On this one the University and I agree. This term is used to describe the way a stereotypical male might choose to sit-with his legs spread open. Evidently feminists think it takes up too much room on public transit, which might actually move it into the column of “Micro-aggression.” I frankly think the term is inane.
