Mimosa, Bloody Mary, nice flute of champagne — or maybe a favorite tipple in your coffee. Make yourself one and join me at our own Algonquin Round Table, the spirit of Dorothy Parker abides.
Happy Sunday, dear friends! We’ve made it to the middle of the November. Football, planning the Thanksgiving menu and making Christmas lists is the order of the day. Though, the Left never sleeps — psychotic insomnia seems to be their superpower. How many “We got Trump NOW” hoaxes from now until the New Year’s Eve do you think? Let’s start a pool, dears! In the meantime, the brunch table is groaning with both sweet and savory offerings — I had a hard time deciding the menu so I just loaded up on everything. Let me start passing the chilled flutes of bubbly, you grab the plates and let’s get to it. L’Chaim!

Videos on social media sites like Facebook show intense dramatic scenes of federal agents detaining migrants, many of which are racking up hundreds of thousands of views each. The catch? They’re fake. pic.twitter.com/iOhblAYvZn

Not that Pravda media hasn’t been leading its “news” shows each night with manipulated stories of so-called cruelty visited upon angelic, peaceful, innocent people from abroad.

Looks like he chose the form of his own destruction.
It would be such a shame if this video went viral, bookmark it and next time you need to explain who Tucker has become and why it’s a problem, just go ahead and play this video for him and every single other person who gaslights you. pic.twitter.com/QOLCbKN8QT

The BBC has been firmly on the Pravda-spewing Left for some time. And the shrieking that this particular “edit” was just a mistake (knitting two statements made 54 minutes apart is a mistake? I don’t think so) pretty much goes to the Left is not learning any lessons. So they need to be hit again, and harder.

I still do not care for Bill Maher as he still is firmly a yellow-dog Democrat and I think it gets a little too high on his own flatulence, but about 80% of that is pretty much spot on. Historically, he misses it on a very important point — the move to re-establish Israel as the Jewish homeland long preceded WWII — e.g. the Balfour Declaration was written in 1917. Even prior to that, the modern Zionist movement (and all Zionism means is the belief and support for a sovereign nation for the Jewish people) was established in the late 1800s by Theodor Herzl because, for Herzl, the odious Dreyfus Affair demonstrated that no matter how loyal a Jew is/was to the nation in which they were born, they were/are always suspect because of deep-seated anti-Semitism.
I should point out, too, that the Passover prayer, for a couple thousand years, concludes with “Next Year in Jerusalem.”

From the original theme to others of the early Bond movies, I’m reminded of the lushness of the music of the era. Would someone please pass me a martini, please? Shaken, not stirred. Two olives, too.

Lieutenant Dan still hard at working helping our veterans.
Actor Gary Sinise, who is best known for portraying Vietnam veteran Lieutenant Dan in Forrest Gump, donated $1 million to a nonprofit which works to heal combat veterans through art and music. (snip)
Thanks to Sinise’s $1 million donation, CreatiVets founder Richard Casper was able to purchase an old, abandoned church in Nashville with the vision of turning it into a 24 hour center where veterans can go to find healing and solace in art and music.
Veterans give us so much, places to heal is the least we can give back to them. Bravo to Gary and Casper.

I’m sorry to say, dear friends, our time together today has come to an end. Fill up a doggy bag before you go and enjoy the rest of your day. Same time next week, okay? I’ll be waiting with bells on. Cheers!
