Mimosa, Bloody Mary, nice flute of champagne — or maybe a favorite tipple in your coffee. Make yourself one and join me at our own Algonquin Round Table, the spirit of Dorothy Parker abides.
Happy Sunday, dear friends! This marks the end of the first week of December. Don’t panic, 2.5 weeks until Christmas so plenty of time to enjoy the crisp weather and gather for a leisurely brunch. We can fill our flutes, our plates, and our hearts with gladness over the results of Nov. 5th. And it’s wonderful to see that Donald and JD are not allowing any moss gather under their feet.
Before we begin our review of last week, dears, yesterday was December 7th. The history of the day is fading as the last of the generation who witnessed Pearl Harbor are passing away. So please stand and join me in a toast to them. May we honor them, their memories, and never forget. Hear, hear.

They always live down to expectations.
Today is December 4th and not one Republican has won a late counting election anywhere in this country.

Boy howdy, at least this judge was paying attention …
A federal judge on Thursday rejected Boeing’s agreement to plead guilty to fraud in the wake of two fatal 737 MAX crashes, faulting a diversity and inclusion provision in the deal.
Wait, why is the Biden/Harris administration insisting on hiring independent monitors for Boeing based on their melanin levels?
The plea bargain also “marginalizes” the judge in the selection and oversight of the independent monitor, and forbids imposing a probation condition requiring Boeing to comply with the monitor’s anti-fraud recommendations, O’Connor said in his decision. He said the agreement was “not in the public interest.”
Relatives of the victims of the two 737 MAX crashes, which occurred in 2018 and 2019 and killed 346 people, have called the agreement a “sweetheart” deal that failed to adequately hold Boeing accountable for the deaths of their loved ones. (snip)
“The plea agreement requires the parties to consider race when hiring the independent monitor,” O’Connor wrote in his decision. “In a case of this magnitude, it is in the utmost interest of justice that the public is confident this monitor selection is done based solely on competency.”
Sweetheart plea deals and limits on conditions of probation?
Would someone check if Hunter has a position within Boeing?

Pope Francis inaugurates the new nativity scene called ”Betlehem 2024” in the Vatican
Looks like the Pope has also fallen for the absurd claim that Jesus was a Palestinian. pic.twitter.com/nVhsOW8vuL

Baby Jesus lying on a Fakestinian keffiyeh. And “Pope” Francis sits there in approval.
You want an example of what blasphemy looks like? There you go.

One small step …
Harrison Tinsley fought for and won full custody of his son, Sawyer, after a four-year legal battle against the child's mom, who wanted to trans him. The mom dressed Sawyer in dresses and makeup, which Tinsley argued was harmful to his son's well-being.

Oh, my. Our time together this Sunday has come to an end. I hope that you enjoy the rest of the day with people and activities that make you happy. Happy people make the world a better place. So until next Sunday, Vaya con Dios!
[…] Victory Girls Blog has Sunday morning cafe cocktails linkage. […]
Hallelujah!
There needs to be another schism in the Church. The current Pope is far too enamored of communism and muslim terrorists.
Because he’s a Progressive (at best) instead of a Christian, and holds to stupidity like “those poor, oppressed Palestinians.” Which he would feel much differently about if he actually knew Scripture and believed in it.
Francis is a socialist, NOT a Christian. The fact that he was elected shows how far the Catholic Church has Fallen.. Bring back Der Panzer Pope!
And the freak in makeup says the same about the Methodists..
Wait, why is the Biden/Harris administration insisting on hiring independent monitors for Boeing based on their melanin levels?
Because that’s how you know they’re “independent”! Duh.
Leave before the lightening strikes
“Lightning”. Unless you think it’s going to wash the makeup off, thereby making his face paler.
This is a pet peeve of mine, and I blame it on letting auto-correct do your thinking for you.
.Merci à tous
Merci a Dieu.
And “Hallelujah” is NOT a Christian song. (At a minimum, it gets at least one thing wrong from Scripture.)
Leave before the lightning strikes??
No need to for two reasons:
1. I didn’t walk in in the first place .
2. Even if I did foolishly walk in, God’s lightning has pinpoint accuracy – Psalm 91:7-8
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8
You will only look with your eyes
and see the recompense of the wicked.
