Speak Up! The current resident of the Oval Office charged all Americans to speak up for diversity and against White Supremacy last night at a White House dinner for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. The dinner was to mark 60 years since the March on Washington and the “I have a dream” speech by the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King. The March on Washington, which attracted about 250,000 people took place on August 28, 1963, sixty years ago last night. The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law was created under the direction of President John F. Kennedy. I urge you to take gander at their website to get the gist of their agenda. I don’t know if this civil rights group is an example of O’Sullivan’s First Law, but they sure have drifted leftward:
“All organizations that are not actually right-wing will over time become left-wing.”
Joe Biden has a dark heart. Anyone who says that Joe is really a nice guy or the ugly coming out of his mouth is the dementia speaking hasn’t been paying attention. Joe has always been a piece of flotsam in the gutter.
Joe spoke earlier before the dinner and his message was to speak up then, too. From the WhiteHouse.gov site:
You know, I’ll be speaking about it more this evening, and I’m going to be talking — I’ll be speaking in a longer fora. But the bottom line is that a lot is happening around the things you wouldn’t think would be happening today on the anniversary of the 60 years of the — of the March.
I’ve spoken with the governor and the mayor and Black community leaders in Jacksonville, Florida. The sheriff, who’s an African American. I spent a significant amount of time speaking to everyone, including the governor of Florida.
And as I’ve said to the country, we can’t let hate prevail. And it’s on the rise. It’s not — not diminishing.
Silence, I believe — as we’ve all said many times — silence is complicity. We’re not going to remain silent.
And so, we have to act against this hate-fueled violence and this — all that’s happening.
And, by the way, almost five years to the day that five young Blacks were killed in Jacksonville — I think it was earlier — at the — at a gun — not a gun shop — a store there doing kids toys.
And — but, you know, we have to speak out that there is a whole group of extreme people trying to erase history — trying to walk away from — I mean, the idea that we’re sitting here — I never thought that I’d be president, let alone be president and having the discussion on why books are being banned in American schools.
And — and, you know, as an administration, we’re going to continue the march forward — jobs and freedom that we have worked so hard for — this group has worked harder than anybody for.
He hasn’t done shite for anyone but his own family. Then, the Craptacular Creep (Joe) when to talk to the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and here he doubled down on ugly and went full White Supremacy:
“Now is the time for all Americans to speak up when history’s being erased, books are being banned. Did you ever think we’d have this conversation here, at this time?” Biden said in remarks. “Diversity’s being attacked.”
snip-
“We know this. As I made clear in my inaugural address, white supremacy is a poison. It’s a poison,” Biden said at the event. “It’s been allowed to grow faster and fester in our communities to the point where the intelligence community’s determined … that domestic terrorism, rooted in white supremacy, is the greatest terrorist threat we face in the homeland.”
“We have to act,” he added.
Federal law enforcement has opened a civil rights investigation into the Jacksonville shooting, treating it as a possible hate crime and act of domestic violent extremism.
“Hate will not prevail in America,” Biden said. “Hate never dies, it just hides.”
“…the intelligence community’s determined – that domestic terrorism, rooted in white supremacy, is the greatest terrorist threat we face in the homeland.” Pardon my language, but what the feck. The intelligence community? Here in the United States? Before Barack and Joe opened their pie holes, most of us got along and most of the White Supremacy threats are coming from “inside the house” so to speak.
If you can stomach it, here is the video of Joe’s speech:
Joe loves giving these incendiary speeches because he thinks it makes him look like a tough guy. But, like most bullies, he is afraid of his own shadow. By the way, did you see that oleaginous cretin Merrick Garland in the front row. Blech.
Speak up! Hale yeah. I will leave you with the “X” to motivate you:

Diversity is poison and multiculturalism is a cancer to a healthy society.
I will disagree, but only for this reason:
Part of Progressives’ heresy is grabbing Christian virtues, removing the governor, then cranking the knob to 11.
Diversity – of the right sorts, in the right way, within limits – is good. Homogenous societies/groups can be very hidebound in thinking, and insular in their appreciation of others. So some variant in thought and ways of doing things can be helpful to keep the group from stagnating.
Of course, the progressive answer is “Throw lots of very different people in there, no matter how disruptive they are nor how awful their culture might be.” Take off those governors and crank it to 11.
Multiculturalism is a good, under the right conditions. America practiced multiculturalism for a couple of centuries before the Progressives got hold of it. Our foods are from every major culture in the world – as those people have come here we’ve said “Hey, let’s add this stuff to the mix. This is cool!” We’ve even added traditions from various cultures that were not the predominantly British Isles culture – Christmas trees, Chinese New Year, other stuff. But we took the good stuff, the benign stuff, and added it.
Progressivism says “There are no ‘bad’ cultures. Bring it all and let’s make it all equal to that which built Western Civilization.” They took off the governors and cranked it to 11.
The fact that agents of our government now believe that wypipo are the cause of all evil in the world. That’s the end result of diversity and multiculturalism at all costs. We need to go back to the old ways of accepting the good parts of a new immigrant’s old culture but encouraging the to assimilate to us instead of the other way around.
(That first sentence should end with “is concerning.”)
Absolutely right.
Biden’s scatter-brain is so in evidence in both sets of remarks. The man can’t open his mouth without 1) lying, and 2) butchering it.
Also, it’s the fundamentalist progressives that have been driving our cultural division – for a century or more. Whether race or sex (or “gender”), it’s always been about furthering division.
My spouse is on disability for a while and is taking a couple of courses at a local college (philosophy and psychology), just for fun because it is something he now has time for.
His first assignment in psychology was to write a paper on how racial bias in inevitable, so one should always attempt to be actively anti-racist to compensate.
Then for extra credit he took an online questionnaire Harvard designed to see how racist he must be (extra credit for a subsequent writeup). The test determined he had no racial bias at all. Which made it a little difficult to write a page and a half about. I’m certain the Ivory tower loonies at Harvard would be very disappointed to know a conservative military veteran showed no racial bias on their test.
