Public school districts across the nation are facing budget shortfalls and decreases in enrollment. Yet, most DOCTORS of education are scratching their heads at the how and the why this is still happening.
It really doesn’t take much to reason the how and the why. Schools and districts are funded by pupil and enrollment. COVID had most students out of the classrooms and virtual, which, got parents and guardians thinking long and hard about other options. Some students saw declining grades. Others were transitioned to a different gender by the time they returned to the in-person classroom. Curriculum was revamped. Teachers did book studies on White Fragility in lieu of walking into the classroom during the Summer of Love of 2020. And, to this day, their precious unions are not slowing their roll on the pronouns. If COVID didn’t get parents thinking about alternative options for their children’s education, the rest of the shenanigans certainly did.
Just the other day, Defending Education obtained documents from the National Education Association’s “Advancing LGBTQ+ Justice” event.
At the event, educators spent valuable (snicker) time learning about “neopronouns” and “xeopronouns.”
What in the tarnation is a neopronoun? Basically, it’s a newly invented pronoun to make some person who refuses to come to grips with reality that he or she is either a he or a she.
Neopronouns tend to refer to pronouns that fall outside the more common terms that people use in a language. For example, instead of using ‘she,’ ‘him,” or ‘they,’ someone might prefer to use ‘ze,’ ‘xe,’, ‘xyr’, or ‘fae.'”

So glad they cleared THAT one up. What are xeopronouns? Ready for this? Xeopronouns are for conceptual identities. As in, if you choose to identify as a dog or a cat, you would be: cats/cat/catself or dogs/dog/dogself. Hell, you can even be cakes/cake/cakeself if you decided to be cakegender six days out of the week. You can save craps/crap/crapself for Sundays. You’re only craptastic twice on Sundays.
Because not addressing someone as “fae” is flat-out disrespectful. Because feeling affirmed feels euphoric. As for actually knowing how to spell the word euphoric? Meh. Can’t expect the almost 3 million NEA union members to focus too much on the concepts of spelling, reading comprehension and sentence structure/pronoun agreement when your refer to a singular person as a they/them but cannot say, “they is”, even though you are, indeed, referring to one singular person.
Sidebar: I just found out the pronoun police have fixed this problem with “fae”. This from a teacher website that provides cute little worksheets on ESL:
Fae pronouns are a set of gender-neutral pronouns that were created to provide an alternative to traditional gender pronouns. They were first coined in 2014 by Tumblr user “Singular-They,” and have since gained popularity in the LGBTQ+ community. Fae pronouns are used by individuals who don’t feel comfortable with traditional gender pronouns such as he/him/his or she/her/hers.”-eslbuzz
In addition to pronouns that don’t make any sense whatsoever, the NEA is not entirely sure this whole “America” thing is going to stick. Isn’t that cute? They refer to us as “what we know as the United States of America” and “what we now call the United States of America” in multiple slides. Oh, the dream for a socialist nation lives on in the hearts of these classroom comrades!
Many of us thought we’d left that insanity back in the early 2020s: President Trump has ushered in normalcy with changes at the Education Department as well as various executive orders.
But the NEA knows it just has to wait out a Republican presidency until a Democrat is back in charge — then its leaders can visit the White House on Day 1, just like they did during Joe Biden’s administration.
These unions don’t have power on their own, Democrats grant them the power to destroy our education system and fill our kids’ heads with abject nonsense.”-Karol Markowicz
And, utter nonsense, it is. Take this from the San Diego Unified School District:
We embody Liberatory Design and Socially Conscious Leadership to support educational partners in identifying, and addressing inequity and oppression within our system. Through collaboration across discipline and departments, the Equity Collective commits to the dismantling of inequitable structures and the creation of an educational system that practices radical love, equity, and inclusion.”-sdusdequity.com
Socially conscious leadership. Then, there are the key words: oppression. Inequity. Inclusion. Radical love.
Radical love and anti-bullying. There is no them, they say. Just us. All of us. Unless the kid’s parents voted for Trump and the boy happens to be definitively a boy with no desire of changing HIS gender or pronouns. Then, bully and name-call all you want. He is the product of “what we now call The United States of America”.
These documents, obtained by Defending Education, were collected over the years. These ideologies have been infiltrated into public schools, funded by taxpayers. Randi Weingarten and Becky Pringle have ushered this woke BS in. They have promoted this victimhood and entitlement with both teachers and pupils coming into the classroom. In the push to reshape education during pandemic, this is the product. Declining enrollment, top-heavy organizations and budget shortfalls. Add into the mix abysmal test scores and kids who can’t read.
Pile onto this garbage dump the budget shortfalls needed to fund necessary improvements, infrastructure and support staff-all now on the chopping block because education of our children is their priority. Presently, public school districts across the nation all sit around at board meetings and scratch their heads about where the money went. Hundreds of millions of grants for DEI initiatives during Biden’s (the “Education President”) Administration.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. One word: standardization. Another word: performance. Enough with the SEL curriculum. Enough with the pronouns. Bring in centralized standards and performance metrics. Let the teachers actually teach this way and, if they are unsuccessful, get the student intervention in this area. If the teacher is consistently unsuccessful in students’ performance metrics, then, this is another conversation. Enough with being protected by a damn union.
The buck has to stop somewhere but, unfortunately, the solution to some districts is chopping off heads of support staff such as maintenance, custodians, bus drivers, IT and other unrepresented employees. “We don’t have the students to support all of this support staff,” they will say. “Our enrollment numbers are down”, they will say. Why? See above.
I will say, there are still some teachers who genuinely care out there so, I do not want to generalize. As for the union-represented teacher with the trans-visibility flag hanging instead of our colors? Here is some radical love for you. If you are complaining incessantly about the leaky roof in your classroom, or the outdated technology impacting your ability to teach, I say this: look inward. Look to your colleagues. Look to your Admins and your leadership. Look to national organizations who have helped create the mess you are in. Ask them where the money went. Wonder why residents don’t vote for bonds and levies for improvements? YOU may be part of this problem and it’s high time you acknowledge this.
So, enough of the pronouns already. Start teaching. Give these kids the respect they deserve by actually teaching them how to read and write and math. Make that part of your pedagogy. In the meantime, grab an umbrella because it’s about to rain.

The current pronoun misuse that bothers me the most (after assigning the wrong pronoun to an obvious gender) is using THEIR as a singular pronoun….as in, “The girl ran across the playground and got on their bike.” Was it a bicycle built for two?..whose bike was it, if hot hers? Must just be cute woke speak!
Because not addressing someone as “fae” is flat-out disrespectful.
Given that the fae are dangerous entities, I’d rather not call someone that. Lemme put some iron in their hand though. If it burns them, they can be fae whatevers.
We as a society are not obligated to accept the emotional burden of pretending something is when we know it ain’t.
How is this inventing of pronouns anything other than witches casting spells that only they are wicked enough to believe.
