Racist Cars On Racist Roads – Transportation Equity

File this one under “Everything is RACIST!”, my fellow fetishists of internal combustion engine automotives. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has gathered a group of leading experts to advise him on “transportation equity”. Never, ever forget that Pete was a Consultant with McKinsey & Company. This is such a McKinsey (globalist) thing to do. Now that Buttigieg has declared we have “racist roads”, he’s here to tell you that you own “racist cars”. We must have transportation equity. These people THINK they are the elites, my Aunt Fanny. My favorite color car is Red. What’s yours?

Buttigieg does not want to have to strain his brain by trying to suss out what happened at the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. That would involve coming up with answers that might be controversial and, maybe, possibly, could be counter to the Administration’s Narrative. Can’t take that chance. Pete must preserve and enhance his future political viability. Racist cars. That’s the ticket. Advance the narrative. Scheme to limit Americans’ freedoms. Solve nothing. Perfect McKinsey answer.

We saw this in the “Washington Free Beacon” today:

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is appointing a group of “leading experts” to advise him on “transportation equity,” including several who argue that cars cause climate change and promote racism and therefore should be phased out.

Buttigieg earlier this month appointed 24 new members to his Advisory Committee on Transportation Equity, an Obama-era body that Buttigieg is reviving after the Trump administration scrapped it. Included on the committee is Andrea Marpillero-Colomina, a “spatial policy scholar” who says “ALL CARS ARE BAD” given that they cause “a myriad of environmental issues and conditions.” Another Buttigieg appointee, self-described “transportation nerd” Veronica Davis, argued in an August essay that cars perpetuate “systemic racism” and are therefore “the problem” in America’s transportation system.

First, what in the actual feck is “Spatial Policy”? According to Wikipedia:

Spatial planning mediates between the respective claims on space of the state, market, and community. In so doing, three different mechanisms of involving stakeholders, integrating sectoral policies and promoting development projects mark the three schools of transformative strategy formulation, innovation action and performance in spatial planning [1] Spatial planning systems refer to the methods and approaches used by the public and private sector to influence the distribution of people and activities in spaces of various scales. Spatial planning can be defined as the coordination of practices and policies affecting spatial organization. Spatial planning is synonymous with the practices of urban planning in the United States but at larger scales and the term is often used in reference to planning efforts in European countries. Discrete professional disciplines which involve spatial planning include land use, urban, regional, transport and environmental planning.[2] Other related areas are also important, including economic and community planning, as well as maritime spatial planning. Spatial planning takes place on local, regional, national and inter-national levels and often results in the creation of a spatial plan.

I think this “spatial policy scholar is channeling Thomas Hobbes “Leviathan”. I don’t want to know about the “transportation nerd” who thinks that cars perpetuate “systemic racism”. The idea of racist cars is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. It does, however, fit right in with reducing us all to robots who fulfill the wishes of our elite, expert masters:

It’s all about being down with the struggle from the Transcontinental Railroad to the Montgomery Bus Boycott:

I don’t know about the DOT’s Equity Action Plan, but I want someone held accountable for Maui’s “water equity”.

Death follows equity as night follows days. Have you noticed that too? Here’s another buzz phrase: “whole of government”. That means unelected bureaucrats will mandate and no one will be held accountable when it all goes pear-shaped:

Buttigieg’s appointments—and his decision to revive the equity advisory committee—reflect the Biden administration’s whole-of-government emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion. President Joe Biden shortly after taking office in 2021 issued an executive order that called on federal agencies to “pursue a comprehensive approach to advancing equity for all.” Under the order, agency heads must conduct an “equity assessment” to identify policies that create “systemic barriers” in minority communities.

Eliminate the racist cars AND the racist roads and you will have the serfs on public transportation going to serve their elite masters, we got it, Mr. McKinsey Consultant. It’s not just us internal combustion engines fetishists either, you Electric Vehicle drivers:

Biden has similarly moved to phase out gas-powered cars in favor of electric ones—the Democrat’s Environmental Protection Agency and National Highway Safety Administration in recent months unveiled regulations that would require automakers to ensure that two-thirds of the vehicles they sell are electric by 2032. For equity committee member Marpillero-Colomina, however, electric vehicles “are not the silver bullet.”
“If we just replace all the gas-powered cars with EVs, we’re going to have many of the same problems that we have with gas-powered cars,” she told the Free Beacon.

All cars are bad. Racist cars and racist roads. I bet next up is racist housing. Any takers? I am keeping my car, assholes.

  • Cameron says:

Through legal means? Probably not. Extrajudicial followed by final judgement? More than likely.

  • George V says:

They will come for guns, they will come for stoves, they will come cars, boats, meat, and eventually homes over 100 sq ft per person. Oh, and eventually the large government apartment building will have shared bathrooms to save energy, water, and probably porcelain ceramic which will be shown to cause global warming.
I’m waiting for the administration to announce their new motto:
Everything Within the State, Nothing Against the State, Nothing Outside the State
