Good grief, can you please pass the Sununu ham? Can the New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu show any more flaunt for Nikki Haley? He has become quite the obnoxious cheerleader the last few weeks. And now that Tim Scott has endorsed Donald Trump, Sununu seems to have lost his spaghetti.
Sununu’s head may not be able to fit through a door soon. He seems to be enjoying jumping out in front of the camera.

Well, guess what, Sununu? Donald J. Trump also “gave” Nikki her job as the UN Ambassador, which she always talks about. I watched this morning in real-time, and my first thought was, “What a ham.”
It may be true that Nikki “gave” Tim his job in the first place, but the people then reelected him. Also, Nikki just didn’t pull a name out of hate. He has run successful campaigns on his own and won.

I don’t live in New Hampshire and don’t follow their politics, so I don’t know much about Chris Sununu. But I wonder how he got his job. But he sure is making the rest of us know who he is now. As people would say about Vivek wanting the VP nod from Trump, I’ll say the same about Chris. He’s out there pimping Nikki for the possibility of becoming VEEP himself?
Not too long ago, he was considering running for President himself.
So, keeping himself in the spotlight seems to be his game nowadays. So why not do it on the coattails of a presidential candidate?
But not all hope is lost, I guess. He does say he will support whoever the Republican nominee is, even if he’s a convicted felon. Gee, Chris, that’s nice of you.
However, on the news of Scott endorsing Trump, Sununu says:

He seems a little perturbed over the news, no?
I finished watching that segment where voters were asked who they were leaning toward. I listened to answers like, “Donald Trump is no longer presidential so I am looking at Nikki.”
This race is not over. The Victory Girls are still writing about all the candidates. The polls have it wrapped up for Trump; the media is getting giddy over Nikki. Back in mid-December, Victory Girl Toni laid out the path to the 2024 nomination for Nikki Haley. Put your seatbelts on ya’ll.

Chris got his job the same way that Liz did – Dear Old Dad. He did, so far at least, inherit a few more of Daddy’s brain. Just not enough to be the king maker in the primary race that John was.
While, yes, anything can happen – Nikki wandered off the path to the nomination a while ago, back into the swamp from which she emerged. I think it unlikely that she’ll find her way back in time.
Mad Celt says: In the same class with Graham, McConnell, Romney and Christie. These Transconsrrvatives have the same mentality of those that burnt the English Reformers at the stake. Apparently standards to be a Republican are pretty low these days. They’ll let anybody in and kick nobody out.

JB says: I’m a NH resident. Besides having dear old dad’s last name, he was less bad than his opponent, whose name I forget. Yup, that guy was even worse. Sununu isn’t running again, at least as of now. I hope the state GOP will field a TRUE conservative this time around. Sadly, more and more folks from away are invading our once-great state and trying to turn into MASS/NY/CTNorth. They want the “rural atmosphere” and “low taxes,” but don’t understand what goes into making it, and keeping it that way. And if you have to ask, you still won’t get it.
