Joe Biden is usually the more gaffe-tastic one, but Obama made a pretty big whopper of a screw-up during an interview with 60 Minutes.

First, he threw Israel — our only ally as well as the only functioning democracy in the Middle East — completely under the bus. Israel’s completely valid concerns about Iran’s efforts to get nukes in order to blast them into oblivion? Just noise. (And strangely enough, this is exactly the same way that Ahmadinejad describes Israel!) This is on top of the fact that Obama’s chosen to skip out on meeting with Netanyahu this week (but he’s got time for The View!).

Then, he put his foot even further into his mouth, and offered up his assessment of the sacking of the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, which left four Americans dead, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. The murders of four Americans? To our president, they’re just bumps in the road. Literally.
